Des Moines Drain & Sewer

Our house has had the drain back up in the past and these guys have come out quickly and professionally. They fixed the issue in very little time and the price was agreeable.

I've used Des Moines Drain & Sewer on a couple different occasions now and both times they have been prompt, professional, and reasonably priced. I'm very satisfied with the work they have done for me.

10/10 recommend. They not only honored their warranty but did an excellent job. Dustin was calm, professional, and very nice helping with everything.

We called for plumbing issues, and it was not fixed at all. We were charged $150/hr for five hours of work, just to have to call a different company (the new company fixed the plumbing issue in less than two hours). The repair man used our water and hose without cleaning up after himself, leaving everything out. We had to pull the manhole cover out for him. And the toilet he pulled up now doesn't sit right and wobbles around.

EDIT: Called again on Friday (3/10/23) and the office lady answered and claimed she never got my voicemail. I was told by her she would talk to Paul about the issue and get a call back. By the end of their workday, i never received a call back.

Called on a Saturday which was after hours. I got on the schedule but when the guy was here he wanted to go through our toilet, which my fiancé and I were ok with, until he discovered the other way they've used previously would work better. We didn't have any issues before besides a small mess to clean up. This time was way different, I had asked if laying towels down would help with less of a mess of sewage water on the stairs and by the drain to which he replied "it won't make a difference" then while he was leaving he broke two Of three brackets off the rail leaving the rail broken. I tried to call the same day it happened but didn't get an answer and still haven't got a call back even though I left a voicemail. We won't be using this company again.

Outstanding service. Jeff was exceptional in dealing with my problem and completed it quickly and for a very fair price. Would highly recommend.

If you're looking for a Mom and Pop plumbing service call Paul yaall. One call did it all. My was flushing slowly and making a gurgling sound, Paul knew exactly what the issue was over the phone and 20 minutes later after snaking the vent on the roof problem solved. Very knowledgeable, polite and reasonable. They will be my first call in the future. Thanks Paul.

Ive updated the review because they said theyd come back out within 30 days if the problem came back up. The issue continued the day after they came out. I called them 3x and nobody returned my call. &sure enough its been more than 30 days now.

DM Drain cleaned our drain of some roots until water started draining. Three weeks later, our drain was completely plugged again. I left messages to have them come back but they never called us back. We had to have another company come out since we couldn't get a hold of DM Drain. They were able to get a lot more roots cleaned out. Also, the drain cleaning machine DM Drain used had a piece on it that scratched our floor all up.
