This is my first time staying at this hotel. Marriott hotels are usually expectedly very nice. This hotel, also is very nice. But there are some differences. The room has some very different and modern details, that are very, very cool.
The bathroom shower door is thick glass in a barn style door. The shower has a rectangular drain. The bathroom door is a sliding door. I love the big shalow sink.

The furniture is very modern.

But my favorite part, is that is the floor. They used a product normally known as water proof luxury vynil planks. It looks like wood. But very sanitary. In today's 2020 coronavirus days, I appreciate that this is not some carpet that looks clean, but hides gross secrets.

This room is very clean, cool, and modern.

This is the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE BED I have ever had the discomfort of sleeping in. Prior to the pandemic I traveled frequently for my job, often staying in Marriot hotels which is how I obtained elite status and I have never experienced such discomfort. I can only describe this as sleeping on a brick with a thin mattress cover. To top it off the sheets are incredibly cheap and the fabric is irritating my skin. I would otherwise give the hotel 4 stars, but I am currently laying in this bed planning my chiropractor visit at 4: 20 in the morning on zero hours of sleep so Im rather cranky. I am offended by this experience and very disappointed. If these beds are temporary and the hotel plans to burn them after the pandemic that would make perfect sense. Otherwise I am at a loss as to how they could even consider this torture device a bed.

Be aware THEY ARE NOT DOING AIRPORT PICKUPS. I called and was told ‘with COVID we don’t have a driver. ’ This is not mentioned on their website. I thought others should know because this is one is the main reasons I chose this hotel over others in the same price range.

Also they charge $15/day for internet, so I felt like I was being nickeled and dimed there a little bit.

In my experience, when attempting to book at a hotel that is full or the room you want is unavailable; one can call the hotel directly. Inquire about availability, ask for an upgrade or an early check-in. This hotel will not speak with you. I was told no questions could be asked about room availability and must be directed to the Bonvoy hotline. I told the individual I did not want to speak to a call center, but a staff member at the hotel itself. He refused to answer any questions and directed me repeatedly to the hotline.

On a side note what has happened to Marriott? It seems so impersonal and lacking any luster since Bonvoy came to be. Hilton Honors here I come!

This hotel is amazing. All the staff are professional and very helpful. Valet parking only at this hotel, which is expensive. The hotel building is very clean and the ballrooms are amazing (we were here for 4 days, 3 nights for a pageant). The rooms are nice and comfortable, but the floors (all hard floors with 1 area rug) were not cleaned properly before we got here. They have a bar and a restaurant inside, but because of Covid-19 they were closed. I like that the swimming pool has a lift chair for special needs people to enjoy the pool safely.

Staff has been great from checking in to sitting down at the bar for a cocktail. They are doing their best keeping everything clean.

Hotel is very nice, rooms are great! Only down side is they don’t have Bravo on the TV

Paid parking, paid wifi, no continental breakfast, no microwave, no housekeeping, less amenities than a super 8. Can't see why I'm paying 124/night plus 26/ to park my car.

Save your money, and get more elsewhere

Where do I even begin with this hotel. We came to stay at this hotel because we had friends that had a wedding here. Almost every interaction we had was horrendous and I’m amazed at how terrible the staff is. When we originally checked in, we asked for extra towels in the room, to which we were told we would have to come downstairs to grab them because of COVID-19, understandable. Later on in the night, we asked for toilet paper, and someone brings it up to us no problem. The next morning we also asked for more shampoo to which someone happily brought it straight to our room. I understand COVID-19 is a thing and it’s for everyone’s safety, however let’s be more consistent. Our next issue, during the wedding, my girlfriend was IN the wedding party and part of the head table, when she asked if the table could have some more champagne, the server said “Get it over there” and pointed at the bar, seriously? Last issue, we received a supposed “noise complaint”, when we asked the gentleman what the noise complaint was for, we did NOT get a definitive answer. Our card was also charged twice and was told by two separate people two different answers when we asked for an explanation. I will absolutely never come back to this place and will steer all friends and family away from any and all Marriott Establishments.

Ran out of food while hosting a large venue. This in turn closed down the restaurant, the bar, and the coffee Cafe. We were not informed of this until checking in. Seems this was the result of poor food and beverage management and nothing to do with Covid 19. The valet attendants also seem to disappear for long periods. Both instances we needed our vehicle resulted in wait times greater than 15 minutes each with inquiry to check in staff on their where abouts. Note we were the only ones waiting for service too. Social distancing and masks were not enforced in hotel despite signage. First time we've ever had a bad stay with a Marriott.

Here for pageant weekend, although the have signs to social distance the elevators no one really. Even the staff that was taking people up and down took more than the signs said were allowed. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful modern updated. Safety elevators where you must use your room key to get beyond public floors. Bathrooms were beautiful and well lit but no exhaust fan. Good view of downtown from the 30th floor. Beds were comfortable with several outlet options at both the bed and desk. I would stay her again.

Spent 2 days here for a conference. It was surprisingly a great place. Rooms were clean and modern. Hotel staff was extremely accommodating. Only downside was that when I checked my reciept, I noticed they charged me for parking and wifi but a quick stop at the front desk took care of that. If not for that hassle, would have been 5 stars.

This hotel is fabulous. The people are very friendly and very helpful. The room is very clean and comfortable. The restaurant food is delicious and the staff is helpful and considerate. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

It's located right in the heart of Uptown and the airport is also just 10 minute drive away. The rooms are nice and Rock River grill has great omlettes made to order so when you are staying here you should definitely try them.

The staff here is awesome. They truly embrace what it means to be Marriott. However, the executive management is extreme. There is new management at Marriott and I recommend you stay away. No pets sllowed
