Dewey Park reviews
7Big park with a huge playground. Lots of climbing / sliding options and all seem safe. Huge parking lot with dedicated picnic area with grills available. Bathroom was out of commission at the time, but a porta potty was available.
Plenty of playground equipment for kids. They have toddler sized thru 7 year old jungle gyms, slides, and plenty of room to run. They even have bathrooms available close by. The smaller tikes area has ground rubber surface and the older kids has wood chips, although someone needs to address the weeds in that area. Nice parking area right on the south edge of the park.
I don't have any actual pictures of the park accept personal pictures we took in there my son absolutely love the the park.
It's clean, it have place to grill, place play basketball, place plays soccer and Trail to walk around or ride a bike My son called it doobie Parkwhich is cute when he say it

I love that Dewey Park has a small child friendly area. And a big open field to let the kids run free or to play soccer. There is also a paved trail around the perimeter that's perfect for riding bikes, walking dogs, or whatever! It is a hot spot for kids to hang out after school and some of them can get disrespectful by throwing trash all over the picnic tables areas. There is also a public bathroom they like to go in and unravel the toilet paper, so just something to be aware of.
Pretty good park, nice open area for games, multiple sets of playground equipment for a wide range of ages.
A pretty busy little park with two playgrounds and a large soccer field. There are also a handful of labeled native Iowa trees around the sidewalk. I just wish the bathhouse was maintenanced better.
