15It's probably only the 3rd time I've been there but I like the store it has probably everything you want. The only problem is it's clear across town so unless they have something i want or more to choose from, color, size, or a lot cheaper for I'll shop a lot closer. 5-10 dollars isn't worth the drive. I just wished they had one one on the east or north side of Des Moines
Customer service is sub-par. We ordered a $450 blue yeti cooler online and traveled 45minutes to pick it up. It was completely scratched up and no other blue one in stock. They had our email and phone number. Someone should have reached out and told us the product was damaged and asked if another color was sufficient. It's not. My husband wants blue and other stores have blue. The manager had the audacity to say "it's only scratched. " After I raised hell, he then offered 15% off. I'm not buying a $375 cooler either that's damaged! No thanks.
Never believe the website. Sales hardly ever appear in person. Thanks for making me spend an extra 80bucks yall

The shoe deparment is a joke, and Jack treated me as if my concern did not matter until I asked for a manager. I initially waited 30 minutes and they forgot about my shoes so they had to rescan me into the queue to re-wait again.
When I first asked for shoes I brought up a few options to see what I could even get in my size and Jack asked me if I only wanted them to scan a few since there was a long line. I just said I need to know which ones I can even choose from first in case you dont have my size. Asking questions like that makes me feel like you dont want my business in the first place. Finally he scanned them, (which took about 30 seconds) and then put me into the queue where I was forgotten about. I have no problem waiting but I do have a problem when other people are helped immeditately while I had been waiting longer. I also have a huge problem with being forgotten about while other customers who waited a few minutes were helped before me.
Luckily after an hour, I asked for the manager and he finally came out with my shoes and offered 25% off. Changing from one star to two, thank you Ryan for listening to my cocerns and making things right.
Drew also helped me very nicely at the register and gave me an even further discount for having to wait that long (with manager approval). Thank you for all your help, changing from two stars to three.

We did an online order for pickup. My daughter ordered the wrong item. Staff were awesome in correcting the problem very fast.
I purchased a $100 basketball not even 2 weeks ago with the 11.99 Protection Replacement plan. Unfortunately some people are malicious and my car was stolen over the weekend (the ball was in my trunk). I called the store and they told me there's nothing they can do about it because I don't have the physical copy of the ball to replace for a new one. I still have the receipt and I have my case number from the police to prove everything is legitimate. What's the point of a protection plan.
Gail was great to work with. He was on top of customer service and helpful with trying to get us a bike. He even remembered my name when I came in a few days later. Although we did not end up purchasing a bike from there I was still very impressed with the way Gail helped us out.
It very busy… but the staff was very helpful and super fast at getting people checked out. We first walked in and line to check out was all the way to back and in matter of only 5 min they got all those people checked out! Great job and very impressed!
Staff walked along side me as I was walking past the front door as if I was going to steal. Associate with a hoodie on acting as if he’s was a customer speed up to walk past the front door. I only know because I worked in loss prevention. Just because I’m young black and shop expensive doesn’t mean I’m gonna steal. Racist. Bought 340 worth of merchandise.
Figure out a different system for trying on shoes Dick’s! Waited for 45 minutes to get a pair of cleats to try on. Dozens of people waiting and only two associates available to run to the back to get shoes. Hire more people!
Great selection. Customer service needs a little work. Have to track people down to get some help after waiting almost 10 min in the shoe section.
They had 1 cashier going and literally 60 poeple in line. I felt bad.just an unfortunate experience.
Horrible experience. Nothing is organized by any metric i could think of. Just wanted baseball pants and cleets for my 8 yr old. Couldnt find any section dedicated to his size group. All mixed with big kids stuff. Nothing but highschool aged kids working and they are less than helpful. Cant blame them. Absolute dogsh! T corporate nonsense. Hate that place
