Divide Hill Roadhouse reviews
7Drove over an hour just to eat there. Only my second time but both times i have been completely blown away by how good the food is. Screw the high priced fancy restaurants. You want delicious food and great service go here. My only complaint would be the loud mouth locals that obviously cant handle their liquor. 6pm on a Thursday sounds like 1am on a Saturday at a night club. That being said i will definitely be back but i know now to just bring ear plugs.
Perfect destination eatery for someone riding in the Loess (pronounced “Luss”) Hills area near here. It’s smack dab in the middle of about nowhere.
Place is nice inside and decorated up with some unique decor. Service was good, and food was also good.
We had their jalapeño popper burger with fries, and a chicken strip basket. Flavor and quality was good. They were freshly made, and came out hot, and tasted good. Price was a little much for what you get. The burger was only like $12.50 or so, but to add fries, it’s another $4.50, so you spend $17 for a burger and fries. You can spend less at Red Robin and get a Gormet burger and bottomless fries. So seemed slightly steep. The chicken strip basket was fairly priced fairly well at $12.50, because it came with your choice of potato. However, it was disappointing to see just how small the basket was. So again, pricing “over all” seemed a bit high for what you are getting.
Bathrooms were nice and also clean. Only thing I’d say is the stalls have curtains, and ones that don’t completely close. There are gaps on the sides. So not only is that a bit weird, but someone could just open the curtain without thinking, instead of finding a locked stall door. The curtain idea seemed hokey to me.
All in all, a pretty good experience. Yes, there are my set of complaints/suggestions above, but that’s only because I try to be complete and honest from both sides, while giving a proper review, and not just a start rating and a review of “good food”. So with me, you’ll often see stuff from both sides of things.
Nice little out of the way place, Great staff, Cold Beer. Just a good time place to stop off for a good time!
Awesome place will return in the near future we didn't order any food thou
Just a favorite we visit every time we go to our cabin, awesome people and amazing food!
Great sunsets, food and service! They had a good live band when we went! I look forward to Divide Hill for a great date night!
After hearing people rave over their prime rib I got two dinners to go. This piece of meat was tough and flavorless.the worst I have ever had. My husband agreed! "Maybe the old owners is the difference" people said. Give them another try. Went inside on a Sunday evening and was disappointed they were out of the 1st 2 items I ordered. I then decided on a burger when told they were out of buns but could put it on toast. Then when the brought my food out they told me they were out of the side I had ordered. Really? Why bring out part of my food before telling me I had to pick another item? Poor wait staff and experience as a whole is reflected in my 1 star rating.
