8 Received a shipment today and we are not happy. Bill of lading clearly says "residential delivery-liftgate delivery-delivery appointment required".
My phone number is also on the document. No phone call and two 300+ pound packages were left in our circular driveway requiring us to back out 150'. No chance to check for damage (there is minor damage), no signature.
In the future when I order something to be delivered I will specify "not Dorhn".
Company was excellent to work with. Contacted the company and asked to be called half hour before arriving. Joe was excellent in calling half hour prior and getting everything unloaded quickly.
My son in law works there an is always busy. Take lunch to him sometimes. Semis in and out alot. Elizabeth Webb.
INCOMPETENCE at its finest! No one here has any idea what is happening with deliveries. They had specific instructions where and when to drop off and left my delivery in the wrong location, and had the audacity to give me an attitude about it. Had to push a 350lb pallet an entire block due to their incompetencey. No call and no sign off- just left in the wrong location.
Easy in and out. Docks are manoeuverble and well numbered. They had me in and out within the hour. They also did a fantastic job getting my freight back to normal. Dealt with the night crew and everyone been courteous and helpful
Must have shipper sign release to allow receiver to pick up shipment at dock. Shipper sent email and Dohrn has no notes or information on it.
As a Dohrn driver I've had a great experience so far. Out of all the trucking companies I have worked for i have never had a company that cares about my opinion as much as Dohrn and truly does put its employees before itself. When the COO of a company takes the time out of his busy day to have a genuine conversation with with a random brand new driver that speaks alot to me.
