Dollar General, Des Moines IA

Nikki the manager was to busy looking busy stocking shelves then to help the poor guy ringing up a line of customers. She was extremely rude and will not be back!

Small enough and close to north side of Des Moines. Get stuff get out. That's the reason why I avoid Walmart especially after 4pm.

I like checking out their candles, the salted Carmel is the best. We don't get a lot of stuff here but fun to see what they have thats new. Always seasonal stuff cheap. Word search books, candy, TP, soap.

I like dollar general, and they are upping the quality and design of their household, especially.this dg is a little crowded in the entry way so if their is a line at checkout, you could go eat a little claustrophobic.they always have a clearance aisle and usually a table - which I never go without looking at.employers are all pretty nice.it's always clean and pretty stocked and organized.just don't forget your duffel bag there, and tell them you'll back to get it, (don't have a car) and well they " get rid" of it anyways.that was pretty irritating.and has me thinking of another store now, but it's still the closest so.

I like going to Dollar General to pick up cleaning supplies, aleve, and hygiene which is usually always at a lower price then I find other places. And of course I have to mention the Little Debbie Donuts. They are cheaper here and they have a large variety. The reason for the 3 stars is that every time I go in there it is a mess.

Store has gone down hill in the last year or two. If I wasn't trying to save money, I wouldn't shop there.

This dollar general needs some work. The workers have very vulgar music playing from the phones and makes the customers feel very uncomfortable if you have to ask where something is at.

Always look forward to going to Dollar General, we love to wander around, look at the vast selection of items. Always have great prices, staff knows us, happy to help. Look forward to next visit.

The store is always a little crowded but has what I need with the right price. Staff is very friendly an efficient.

The management at this location is personable with us, our family is shops with DG daily and most days manager can be seen diligently making this DG FABULOUS.

Typical Dollar General;
Could be cleaner, Could be nicer, Could be more organized, Could have better quality products or more choices in some things.
But it works for ur neighborhood grab-n-go things.

It's a quaint little hamlet. Everything is laid out nicely and everything is relatively easy to find. Great staff too!

It was a very good experience indeed! I went in in need of some razors and some black shoe polish for my boots. I found quality razors for a great price. I asked the cashier where I could find the Carnauba Wax and she was very helpful and friendly. And the Military Gloss Black Polish was about two bucks cheaper than the price across the street.

This is my neighborhood store. Always has whatever I'm looking for. The digital coupons are the best!

This store is great for buying a few groceries or cosmetics car stuff. Reasonably priced. Good for a quick stop.

I went in the store to buy an igloo and came out the store with a giant teddy bear for my granddaughter (aria). She was scared of it at first named it (bear bear) and gave it a Hulk Smash.

The store was in shambles and one cashier working with the line going back to the isles. I was very disappointed with this store. Most likely will not be going back.

The dollar store is my go to store and this one is my favorite. Clean, spacious and always have a different variety of product to choose from.

We went in to use our digital coupon but the minute we walked in our phones got no service until we walked back out. So they have cellphone service blocked in there so you can't use your digital coupons. Will not go in there again. Wonder if corporate knows they are doing this.
