8Nice park right on the Iowa / Illinois border. We stopped there to strech our legs after driving all morning. The park had plenty of places to park and enjoy the view. There were also picnic tables available to use.
My wife and I picked up some food from the Hop-N-Shop after getting gas and went here just to sit and eat I’ve always enjoyed coming here with the wife and kids to relax and do a little fishing
Cute little island! You can stop here for a picnic or just stop here for a little while, relax and enjoy the views!
Nice place to stop for lunch! We ate at a picnic table watching the loons dive in the river. Right by the road but pleasant!
Love the view in a small town. Would love to get back there to take some fall pictures. Absolutely beautiful in Subula Iowa.
Very nice spot for a some nice photos, and if you just need a break from driving. Lovely views. The only downfall is not alot of parking to also allow other cars to pass around you. That's the only reason for 4 stars. Otherwise a very peaceful outlook.
What a Serene beautiful spot to check out one of my favorite places in the area lots of waterfowl and beautiful scenery!
A good stop on the way to Palisades National Park. The road is very scenic and beautiful. I was here in winter when the water was all frozen, but I believe you can do fishing here.
