Local treasure. I'm glad there isn't a lot of traffic. It is fantastic that such a unique place is being preserved.

Such a diverse place and an easy loop for those with young kids. Cactus in Iowa next to swamplands and beautiful wildflowers in June.

Awesome sand dunes in the middle of farm country. Prickly pear cactus in bloom everywhere. Lots of wildlife and blooming plants. Well maintained trail.

Love it, well kept.but what’s that! It’s not a stick, it’s a snake a lot of snakes, I went jogging with my boyfriend and almost stepped on three very unhappy snakes.

It looks very run down. It sad the pond looks aweful, and the deck u walk on looks very unsafe to walk on the boards are warp and missing boards. On the trail someone snot tissue and and kids plastic butterfly net someones jacket where a animal could get caught in it. On 7-8-19. Needs a garbage pale for the picnic area. Plus the signs on trail needs to be taken care or replace for education purposes. I was disappointed in how it looks. I know its been really wet but that beyond not keeping up the place to make it for those who love nature and love site seeing. Consider having a fun day to upgrade and making it really a place where people want to keep it nice. Not trashing it.

A unique ecosystem consisting of sand dunes, prickly pear cactus, and box turtles. You won't find many similar places like this in Iowa.
