Buyer Beware!
The service department at this dealership is the worst I’ve ever experienced. I’ve had three services done here. I always ask for full synthetic with a 5,000 mile service interval. First service took over 3 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. The second service came back with conventional oil and a 3,000 mile service interval. Not sure why this was changed, but I made sure to point out that I wanted full synthetic on my next service. I went back for the third service, made it very clear what I wanted, and ended up getting conventional with a 3,000 mile service interval again. I went back into the service department and the shop foreman said that 3,000 miles is required to stay compliant with the manufacturer warranty. Hyundai calls for a 7,500 mile service interval so I’m not sure how he came up with that. I feel like this dealer is intentionally lowering service intervals to force customers to come back more often. I’ll start scheduling services elsewhere.

Impressive! The ordering process was painless, the wait was brutal. Once it came in I was notified the same day and picked my vehicle that same week. I was contacted 3 days later by my salesmen to see if I had any questions and how I liked the vehicle. I have purchased a new vehicle every two years for the past 10 years. This was by far the best experience. The finance gentlemen was Great, even though it was a cash deal he still spent the time to make sure everything was right and all the paperwork was painless. Mike the sales manager met us at the door as I had talked to him several times over the wait for my vehicle, he was very pleasant and got right work getting my trade in processed so we could move forward with the new car purchase. I would love to see Edwards bring a Hyundai Dealership to the Des Moines Metro area as we only have one in this area and not sure how fast they will be able to service my Palisade. Lots of vehicles on their lot for service. Thank you for the great experience with this purchase, I may see you again in 2 years! Tonya May
Logan was great. No haggling and got the price I wanted. Showed me the vehicles I wanted to see and was super nice.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I dont know what his official position is, but a guy named Victor messaged me on facebook regarding a vehicle I had posted for sale, mentioned bringing in the vehicle for an appraisal, when I am the one SELLING. Told the guy since you're the one who's interested, it is YOU who has to come. Dude has the audacity to argue back and forth, VERY unprofessional. Then proceeds to block me and leave a one star review. In conclusion, looks like the dealership does an extremely poor job training their staff
Buyers beware, would HIGHLY suggest shopping elsewhere, rather than working with a bunch of Junkie CROOKS.
At first I was very hesitant about buying a car through Edwards, but after working with an employee named JO he really made the car buying process a little easier. He was helpful and clear when answering any question that I had. If it wasn’t for him I would not have purchased my vehicle, I will recommend him to anyone looking to buy a vehicle from Edwards!
We brought our vehicle to Edward's Hyundai for three issues due to recalls under warranty: the engine oil consumption issue, the anti-theft equipment, and the paint issue. The anti-theft was taken care of immediately, so for that, we would give 5 stars. After several months of required testing for the engine oil consumption, we were approved for an engine replacement - but only at 90% coverage - even though the warranty should have been honored at 100%. Edwards has been in possession of our vehicle since July and finally completed the engine work in September. The paint issue was partially denied, so it was appealed and is still pending. We've made numerous phone calls this past year throughout this process which often went unanswered and messages not returned; so we resorted to emailing the service department. Emails, too, have often gone unanswered. We don't necessarily place the blame on the service department representatives. It's clear when we have come in to the department that they're often understaffed and overworked. This complaint lands squarely on Edward's Hyundai management. We expected them to deal fairly and promptly to these recalls. We're overall disappointed and it was hard to even award one star.
For months I have been dreading the fact that I really did need to look for a different car. My husband loved to car shop so for 44 years he always did the car shopping and I just signed on the dotted line. Well I finally decided I was going to bite the bullet and go by myself looking for a different car with lower mileage. I had been told to take a man with you or you won't get a good deal.they will take one look at an old woman and look out!
Well I am very independent and decided the heck with it.l COULD DO THIS! Well thanks to Tim Martin at Edwards Hyundai I did just that and was able to purchase not only a newer car than I thought but also very low mileage. Also thanks to Ian Duffey I won't have to worry about service or anything else for quite a while.
Thanks to all of you for your patience and handling of what I thought was going to be a very nerve-racking experience.you have a customer for life!

I came in for an oil change and tire rotation as part of my regular schedule maintenance. I was told my car is leaking oil severely but I have never seen any oil under my car and that they needed to put dye in my oil and to come back in 300 miles to find where it is leaking. As for the tire rotation they moved a tire that has a sidewall bubble from the back up to the front drivers side, and also said my lug nuts are swollen and that is a Ford problem. Now on the tire with an air bubble one lugnut is different from all the others and won’t come off. Also on one of the back tires none of the lug nuts were tight at all, they could be tightened using your fingers. We called and went back but no one has called us back yet.
Alan was really nice and patient. I really was only looking and came home with a new car. He found the right vehicle for me.
I have always been pleased with the work from the Service Department. The staff and manager there are excellent.
We had a great experience purchasing our new 2024 Hyundai Palisade from Edwards Hyundai in Council Bluffs. Our sales person Todd Roberts spent a lot of time with us walking us through all of the cars features and making sure we understood everything. We would fully recommend Todd and Edwards Hyundai to others.
