Emma's Nails, Ankeny IA

I had an appointment today at 12pm. I sat waiting after checking in for almost 15 minutes.even though I made an appointment weeks ago. I first had a pedicure with a specific person, as she was good last night I went here. It was SO rushed. She didn’t even ask what pedicure I wanted. She just went ahead with the $45 one to get more money out of me. And the cuticle bed is covered in nail polish and each nail is uneven because of poor filing. I then got a full set of acrylics with chrome on top. All the nail shapes are different. I asked for almond and they look more like circles or blabs of acrylic. The chrome and off white color of polish is covering my cuticle bed. I paid $116 for this.

Emma’s Nails is a very clean salon that does a great job on your nails! I have tried many different places in Ankeny and this one beats all the others on cleanliness! Price is reasonable and service was great! Give Emma’s a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Worst pedicure and manicure. My cuticles were not cleaned. That was the reason why I wanted to get my nails done at the nails shop otherwise I could’ve done them myself. I have no words to describe my pedicure - worse. I wish I could undo the whole service: (

I left a review 5 years ago so I thought I would update it to say this is still the best nail salon I’ve been to. I regularly get my nails done and can’t remember a time where I had an issue. As you can see, I keep my nails short and Vince does a great job with the length.

My fiancé and I get pedicures from time to time. My fiancé has rough and ticklish feet. Kelly does an amazing job on fixing those man feet for him!

I always recommend Emma’s Nails.
