Endodontic Associates of Iowa- Mt Pleasant

I needed a Root canal done and was referred to Endodontic Associates by my usual Dentist.
Dr. Joe D Vela was my dentist.
He answered all of my questions and the procedure went off perfectly.
He numbed the area of my mouth that needed attention with a topical numbing agent.
He then fully numbed the area with injections which was done quickly and was probably the last thing I felt before the procedure.overall the procedure was short lived and felt like the part of a roller coaster ride where you come flying down the highest hill and then just get used to it.

Dr. Vela is the friendliest, quickest, most efficient, and most caring dental professional I have ever been a patient for. He was super down to earth and helped me sooth my anxiety over the painful numbing/temperature testing stage of my root canal. The root canal itself was entirely painless, didn't even feel pressure or a buzzy feeling. Dr. Vela explained everything before and after the procedure including post care with pain medications. He also reshaped the temporary crown that my current primary dentist did not place effectively enough, and this was an issue I had that I didn't bring up, he just noticed it! Addison was also incredibly welcoming as the dental assistant. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly despite the lobby being busy. Would 100% recommend Dr. Vela for endodontics services.

These doctors and staff are setting the standard for patient care. The way they listen to their patients and perform procedure are most definitely on a higher level than anything I’ve ever received. Dr. Vela and his associates are attentive and precise. They take the time to listen and are proficient in accessing and treating pain and whatever procedure that needs to be done. My dentist referred me to this office, Dr. Amy Groeltz, who is a rockstar as well. I ended up having to get a tooth pulled by the surgeon on site. His name I cannot remember. Was excellent as well. Took the time to explain what was going to happen. Also what was going to happen in the future with my implant. It was all so pleasant. I can’t wait for another extraction and root canal! Lol. One thing I’d like to make note of is the team member behind the counter. Susie. You cannot help but to be impressed by Susie. The way she juggles taking payment, setting up multiple appointments, and welcoming patients is nothing short of incredible. She exhausted me just listening to her for the short wait I had in the lobby. We are lucky to have these people at our disposal in our small corner of the Midwest. The doctors and staff do such a great job of making you feel relaxed, cared for, and comfortable.
