Eye Care of Iowa - Ankeny reviews
4 The front desk staff has been nice in my experience. It often seems like I don’t get called back until after my start time but usually never too late.
I’ve had mixed experience with the doctors none too bad but I don’t feel like they care to discuss best eyeglass options. It’s either single vision or progressive when your old enough.
If your getting single vision lenses you should be fine. I’d recommend looking elsewhere when you start to go beyond single vision.
Staff doesn’t seem well trained on lens options and finding the best for you. The eye doctor said I could try progressive lenses this time however he didn’t consider if that was what would work best for me. I had concerns about blurry vision in parts of my lenses. The pamphlets material made it seem like very little blurry ness with the expensive progressives and I was willing to pay more.
I recently switched to progressive lenses for the first tim. The optician wasn’t helpful either. She left at some point through my experience and I worked with another one who didn’t seem interested in helping find the right lens for me.
When I had problems they just sent the lenses in and they got remade. I only get explanations when I ask. I felt like they just wanted to be done with me instead of helping. Made me think it was just about optimizing dollars. They remade them 3 times with only one of them being one I understood as they had been going off a set of old measurements. The last time they were sending them in to just check them but they got remade.
So I’m let with lenses I don’t like but I need the near vision now and the only option I’m now given is to get single vision lenses with no help finding what’s best.
In summary, just go if you need single vision lenses. I’ve never used them for contacts.
Excellent customer service and knowledgeable. Timely service. Dr. Nick Blasco is highly recommended!
Friendly staff, Dr Nesheim, Dr Blasio and Dr Macy Dieleman are great, the office is clean and comfortable, they even have coffee available while you wait. They got me right in when I was having an issue with my eyes.
