Fareway Grocery, Winterset IA

Great store. This is the perfect size grocery store. It is big enough to have a good selection, while not so big that you need a nap halfway through.

Always helpful service to find things. Check-out personnel always kind. The help that takes your cart to your car are exceptional.

Always a great experience. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Hands down my favorite store.

As always - the store is clean, the shelves are well stocked, & all the employees are friendly & more than willing to help you in any way they possibly can - all with a warm & friendly smile on their face.
I live in a small town that has a Walmart about the same distance away as this Fareway, but I still prefer coming down to this store in lieu of going to Walmart. Main reason being - Walmart is usual a mess & hard to get around to what you need due to the aisles being full of boxes of items that need put on shelves. This makes it hard for a person that is disabled & trying to shop using an electric cart! Or trying to get to an item that you can't get to bcuz of the boxes being in the way! They shouldn't bring them out till they are ready to be stocked on the shelves, or done at night like they used to do!

We love fareway but just wish they had a larger selection of some items. They have a small selection of specific categories of items. If you're needing something specific, odds are they don't have it. Their meats are always amazing though, I think that's why they're still in business. What's up with the funky smell that every fareway has?

People here are very friendly and helpful. Product is good. Prices have gone up as they have everywhere.

I can't believe the customer service at this store. The teenage sackers spend all their time talking and not helping. Ugh.

They can throw the self check out machines in the dumpsters! I've used self check out at other stores, and they're fine. I'll go to Hy Vee.

The kids at the checkout counter seemed to have a good sense of humor. One of my items did not have any price or barcode. You know that I'm no good it's free and they ran with it.

Meat counter makes more hungry.as the name denotes the price is fair and everything can be find out easily the staffs are too friendly
