Fareway Grocery, Knoxville IA

I don't like shopping here. I don't think it's cheaper. And I think it's produce isn't very good

Knoxville Iowa Fareway is a really nice store and has more items than the one I go to on my side of town in DesMoines Iowa.

Fareway is always a great place to shop the employees are always great and you just can't beat fairways meat it is always fantastic and priced right! If you like ribeye steak which is everybody's favorite especially on the grill you got to get some Today 2/23/22 found what we needed however with the turmoil in today's economy it seemed a bit of a sticker shock on prices on some of the stuff we got today!

Always friendly & courteous, the store is usually stocked well. It’s an older store, with everything inside older as well. Given this, it’s still clean & inviting. The baggers push your groceries out & load up your car. It’s nice to not have to load the car, lock everyone in & find a cart stall. It’s hot, & messing around trying to find a cart return is time wasted when trying to keep my ice cream frozen. The only negative thing I can say is, the store frequently smells unappetizing. It’s sometimes a spoiled milk smell, sometimes a rotten soda pop smell. I believe it was from can returns. I’m not sure if they’ve resumed collecting or not. If so, I’d definitely
be more apt to make them aware of the fact that the customers can smell it. They’re just too clean & courteous to leave something like that without cleaning & sanitizing.

I enjoy going to fareway store but I especially enjoy the friendly face of the kind, helpful bagger named Austin! I have known him for lil bit now and everytime I come Into the store he greets me by name as I do him. Such a kind young man!

Always a pleasant experience. Love their meat counter and their people behind their always give great service.

Great deals, well organized and super friendly staff. Been a while since we have went since Covid hit. Great guidelines they are following. Honor the deals and super helpful when they run out of items. Saw a couple of kids standing around talking in a corner. I miss seeing Isis when we go. She was super helpful and so nice about every little thing you asked her to do. I saw her in all areas of the stores in each department working hard. Miss her smiling face.

Extremely friendly employees, just like any store, deals will vary but love the fact they are closed Sunday.

They honor our of all the deals from other stores and you don't even have to do the homework

Nice meat counter-friendly associates-if ya can't find it, ask-has everything I want.
