Best meat counter in town. Meat dept is rock star advisor on great ways to prepare meals. Rotisserie chicken is a must. Prices are awesome. They even carry bags to car. Wonderful service!

The meat department is 10 stars. Awesome! The rest of the grocery store is lacking in quantity and seems run down.

Excellent store. Very helpful employees, clean, reasonable prices, good selection and none of the ridiculous gimmicks used by some competitors. Groceries, not gimmicks!

Great meat and very economical prices. Special deals every day, especially for canned goods and dry foods. The produce is economical but can sometimes be close to the edge of going bad. Produce is okay if used quickly, but don't expect to keep it for more than a few days to a week.

Great place for shopping. Fruit, vegetable, meat and all other products will reccomend to anyone.

My home Fareway although I go to all other west side Fareways. No meat department even comes close. Like going to small town locker for meat only better prices. Will match competitors prices. Staff is helpful, happy and enjoy their jobs. When I lived in Cedar Rapids I would drive 10+ miles roundtrip to shop at southside or Marion Fareway

Fareway is one of the best grocery stores in Iowa. They always have great customer service and their meat counter is the best in town.

I always catch a smile when I'm there. I would go out of my way to go here. The Urbandale store is awesome.

This place is the only location I have found that sells pella beef jerky. It cost a premium but it's worth it.

Just purchased 5 items at this store, I was overcharged for 3 of the 5 items. This is becoming all too common with Fareway. Also need to watch the dates pretty carefully on all their product at all Des Moines suburb stores!

First time visit. Everything was well stocked, clean, and organized. An impressive meat department! Very helpful employees and friendly. I will be coming back!

I love this little store. It has a small-town feel. The people are wonderful. You are not going to beat the Meat and Deli section. They won my heart.
