Five Ridge Prairie State Preserve, Westfield IA

This is a very Rustic place to Hike. Meaning, there are NO FACILITIES. It is still a fantastic place to hike.the trails are sort of marked but maintained. Be sure you have water and some snacks. It is a carry in carry out type of place there are no garbage cans. There is Hunting allowed so be aware of the time of year and your surroundings. It is a wonderful place to walk and hike.

Having never seen this before I had to check it out. I get the name of it. Once I got there I really enjoyed the trails.until 3 trucks showed up with high school kids falling out. Beer drinking and loud music. I will return next year. Hopefully they'll be gone by then. I read many positive reviews about this place. Hopefully one day I will experience it.

This place is so beautiful it is unbelievable great for hunting and nature walks with great grass trails.

Beautiful place to hike! Loved exploring with my dad for a bit Trails are very primitive and washed out so you have to watch your step but it is worth the venture

Five Ridge Prairie is a hidden gem. It is really beautiful, but you have to hike there. Great place though if you like to hike and have a little break. An incredible view near the end of the trail.

Gorgeous place. Humid morning for a walk but still very enjoyable. Trails are not always clear, but that's what we were looking for.
