I've lived here in Fort Dodge for over a decade and while it's not the largest most exciting town with tons of stuff to do, it is a quit little town that I'm more than happy to call home. There's some decent job opportunities to help build a career and a few growing industries such as the esports scene at the college and Fort Frenzy with their local Smash tournaments. Crime rate is a smidge high for the population size, but usually nothing too crazy like you might see in some bigger cities.

Nice place to stay, if you choose the right hotel. Stay any longer and you will get used to hearing gunshots at night.
