Fox Creek Park reviews
9Such a pretty local park! It's more of a community thing so I wouldn't recommend making a long drive to visit.
A brand new splash pad, a shelter that available for rental with small picnic benches that have roofs, and a small park. Very modern. The “complaints “ about this place are weak at BEST, and give off the Karen vibe.
This park fits all your summer needs from a splash pad to the playground. Plenty of space to run for the kids. There's an overhang & picnic tables, but not a whole lot of shade. Be prepared with drinks, snacks, and toys because your kid will want to stay for hours.
This is a nice park with a splash pad. Between the splash pad and the park, your kids will be busy for a few hours. I like how there's a huge open area that's perfect for flying kites. There's also a walking path too. There are a few tables that are shaded and on site restrooms with a shower.
If I had a child, which I don't, or lived in Waukee, which I don't, I would bring them here.
We went for a child's birthday party and it was a perfect location. Though the acoustics in the on-site facility reverberated the sounds of children screaming directly into my ears which wasn't ideal.
This is a fun little park with a great little splash pad. Could use a few more shaded areas but overall we really enjoyed it
Great area for the kids to cool off and play. Also, there's plenty of seats for parents.
I love Fox Creek Splash pad! I've been going for a while now and it's by far my favorite splash pad. The park however- I am not a fan of the mound feature in the center. It makes it difficult to keep a line of sight on your child (ren) without becoming a helicopter parent and chasing them around constantly. I just tell my kid he can't go over to the playground, he has to stay at the splash pad!
