Mediterranean Restaurant Gazali's reviews
17If you want a comfortable atmosphere and great company, you need to come here. As someone who has anxiety, this place is soo amazing, comfortable peaceful environment. Nice to not have media blaring and getting to know the amazing owner personally so worth it!
MJ was very welcoming and attentive. Loved the food and service. Please support this local business!
Absolutely delicious! The restaurant was so cute and our waitress was lovely! 10/10 would recommend!
I understand that the restaurant business is brutal business. But that doesn’t change the fact that our other jobs are hard as well. This is the worst food presentation and preparation I have seen. They just dumped the food in a box and sent it out. The rice proportionally larger than the other food items listen in the menu. They just poured it on top making it look like large portion sizes. I only saw like 4 pickle pieces and 3 strands of chicken. The only reason I gave them a second star is cuz my baby brother for some reason liked the shawarma. Even though it looked like mush ball. I spent too much money for what I think is a horrible amount and preparation of the food.
What a great place! An Owner who is family oriented. Not to mention the food is amazing (had the best gyros), and a beautifully kept place. Stop in and immediately feel welcomed.
This is a wonderful restaurant with fantastic vibes and tasty food (good vegan options as well)! Piper and Veronica were super friendly and made our night out fun and memorable!
Cute little place to hangout. Their falafels are extremely good. The best pick in their menu and the dish that made it to my personal favourites is their veggie burger, Falafel rice, Gyro wrap, Irish coffee and the baklava. These are must tries. The owners are super friendly and nice people. Love the way they check in about the food. I’m sure your evening will turn out to be a pleasant one if you go in here for dinner.
The Gyro's here taste good! But boy was it the most expensive and messiest lunch ive ever had in my life! I got a single gyro, and I paid 13$ for essentially 4 slices of lamb/gyro meat, a slice of cucumber and onion, and a piece or two of lettuce. The tzatziki was mostly on the wrapper it came in. Enough on the outside to drench two wrappers and my desk in it. No fry's or a drink. Would probably go back, but not for lunch.
Go to Fresh Mediterranean. Hands down better and cleaner. I really loved watching the cook take one of our fries out of our to-go box to eat. This is after he had his hand tucked under his armpit. Super fun to watch. Don’t recommend the armpit fries….
Amazing food super friendly staff! Owners ware just the BEST! Food is authentic and very delicious GREAT Drinks! Just over all great place for lunch drinks and get treated great!
Went for lunch today and was really disappointed. Use to love this place and ate there frequently when it was located near Drake but today was nothing like before! Ordered the same thing as I used to, chicken shawarma, and it was, sadly, terrible. Literally just some lukewarm chicken with a piece of cold cheese in a cold pita- nothing else. The shawarma was also VERY intense and unpleasant (not spicey but overloaded with seasoning that tasted really off, I think WAY too much cumin?) - not at all like what they used to serve. I was shocked at the difference since I used to eat this same meal from them monthly before the pandemic. With added tip, it was over $16 for something I could not completely eat. My friend ordered falafel and it was literally one ball on a bed of lettuce. Staff was still nice and attentive but I am so sad to see the food has changed so much.
I'm so happy Gazali's has moved into this new location! The best gyro, hummus I've ever had, Baklava is insane, and the people are amazing! Always a friendly smile and good conversation. Veronica is the reason I make my Monday night pilgrimage. She's such a delight when ordering over the phone, and welcomes you with a huge smile at pickup. She's one of the only cases for tipping before service, because I always know it'll be top notch! You have to try Gazali's!
Wonderful food and service! The owner was very involved and fun to talk with. Will be back soon!
I love this place. Everything I've had is five star. The owner is a great guy, really fun to be around and generous. Will be a customer as long as he's around. Cheers!
Passing through on the 80
This place is a must!
Such great food and vibe.
MJ is the man!
$57 for 4 sandwiches was a bit steep. And we got charged an extra $3 for paying with a credit/debit card.
Such a fabulous place for amazing Mediterranean food. Love the staff and food is amazing. Their hummus is perfect.
