I bought a used car.
It was in great conditions. It was clean and presented at best (surprisingly, not actually usual according to other dealers I visited before).
Shane, the Sales Consultant, was attentive and kind, replying to all my questions with patience and clarity.
The price was truly competitive compared to what I saw around in the last month, but what really made the difference in the experience was the professional yet caring attitude of Consultant and Manager.
Best car dealer in town. By far.

Told me they would not replace dash if they broke it while fixing a recall. Additionally, I could not call to make an appointment. Had to figure it out on the website and use their frustrating appointment plug in.

Employees were courteous, friendly and knowledgeable
Call and said about 45 minutes would be finished. Call after an hour and said was ready for pickup.

I purchased a car in September 2022 and was told they would call me to have a chip installed. I was never called and then today I get a letter saying I have 1 week to have the chip installed or the cost falls on me. So they did not call me and now I am on a time limit for being patient? What happened to them calling me? I even went there for an oil change and they said nothing!

Outstanding! Pat clemons in Boone tried to screw me over 1800 so I brought my traverse to George white and it was only a sensor. They told me they would get it fixed by Monday as I dropped it off on Friday around 12 and they called me at 715am Saturday morning and my traverse was fixed! The manager I worked with was outstanding! Highly recommend

Came in ready to buy. Wasn’t completely sold on the price point 35 used 2021 when you can buy new for 37. When asked questions about it and what other options similar to that model and the salesman basically said got up and said he isn’t interested in even helping me find a vehicle. Mind you was ready to buy that day. Dodge in DSM is so much kinder and willing to help identify cars that meet needs. Not to mention the new car we tried to test run initially wouldn’t start.

RESPONSE: I bought a Blazer 2022 with 15000 miles on it at a separate dealer within the city limits of DSM for similar pricing. In a larger vehicle that is Certified Pre-Owed with a better warranty and brand new weather tach mats and much friendlier sales team. So thanks for input that that’s the price point of your vehicles there. When a buyer asks about price and they then other comparable cars on lot to be told nothing here can make us happy if we aren’t willing to buy the higher end model of car we were looking at it is a huge turn away. We will not come back and not recommend.

Got me in right away even though it was a Saturday. Friendly, helpful, thorough. Very satisfied.

The staff at George White always keeps me updated on the progress on my vehicle. They recommend work to be done but never force it to be done. I will continue to bring my vehicle to them.

Got a new battery because my 6 year old battery had died 2x before. Drove it in and they put in a new one. Good price considering they charged $24 to put it in. I'm warming up to my local Chevrolet dealership. Hope it continues!

Max White greeted me warmly and had the details of our service appointment. He was thorough, kind and very respectful. He advised us everything would be completed timely and informed us if anything was delayed he would contact us immediately. The alignment might be delayed due to a technician's schedule, but he would keep us informed. It was done early and he contacted us right away. We appreciated knowing ahead of time of the possible delay. George White Chevrolet has always provided us excellent service!

Purchased a vehicle from Kurt. The vehicle needed some repairs before I was able to purchase it. Kurt was very transparent and kept me updated on what exactly was being done to the vehicle. I drove almost 4 hours to pick it up and the vehicle was in better condition than I was expecting. Made it back home and have been driving it for a few weeks and I am extremely happy with my purchase.

This is the 2nd used car we've purchased from George White of Ames. Our salesman this time was Tony Thornburg, and he was great. He was not pushy at all but was able to thoroughly answer our questions, make good suggestions, and provided for our needs.
After bringing the vehicle home we noticed the car had a small oil leak from a bad gasket, but he provided me with a loner car for the week while they had the necessary repairs made without any additional cost to myself.
