Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Council Bluffs

This place is incredible! If you’re like me and a bit hesitant to start jiu jitsu because you didn’t want to get thrown to the wolves and choked out night after night, this is the place for you!
But don’t mistake that for this being a place that doesn’t know what they are doing, because they do! Bob and Gracie Jiu Jitsu are amazing! There is a precise program you will follow, broken down into learnable chunks. Bob’s love of jiu jitsu and his deep well of knowledge of the sport are evident during every class. Come try it out, you know you’ve always wanted to! This is the place for you!

Seems like it’s a great place to train at, hopefully I’ll be able to revisit sometime in the future. Everyone was very helpful and considerate.

Love this place! I’m newer to jiu jitsu, starting here about a month ago, and experiences at other places have been rough. I’ve appreciated Bob and Gracie Jiu Jitsu because it’s a well thought out process with a curriculum that allows people to learn fundamentals in a safe and supportive environment.

If you are like me and have gone to other places where you get thrashed around and told to figure it out, this is the opposite of that. You are provided a clear path towards developing techniques and have milestones you reach throughout the process.

If you’ve had a similar experience as I have, I would come check out this location. Bob has been an amazing teacher as he has so much patience and provides a community that is friendly and welcoming.

Starting a new experience is always hard, especially as an adult. Martial arts are usually the hardest to start as an adult but with a gracie system and Bob's expert guidance I'm learning more in the last 3 months than I have in over 2 years of jiu-jitsu elsewhere. As an instructor myself, learning the basics is essential to building a good foundation for learning. Bob understands this and and the gracie systems encourage this.

Me and my kids have been going to Gracie’s, with Bob and it has been a great experience. I like what he is teaching the kids, and I enjoy the experience he has for me as well. Definitely worth a try for new people that want to learn this great skill.

Outstanding thus far. Everyone checks their ego at the door and you are instead met with positive yet very effective instruction.

Bob keeps the instruction clear while still placing emphasis on the details to help you build a foundation for success. The atmosphere at this gym supports your growth. The Classmates are your allies are we do our best to sharpen one another.

This place has all the makings to foster a community that will surely flourish. I'm sincerely excited to be a part of it.

I've been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over 10 years now, and I've had the privilege of training under some of the best instructors in the world. But I can honestly say that they are some of the best instructors I've ever had. They have a deep understanding of the art, and they're able to break down complex techniques in a way that makes sense to everyone, regardless of their experience level. They're also very patient and encouraging, and always makes sure that their students feel comfortable and confident. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

I've been studying Jiu jitsu since 2018. Over the years, I've had a hard time due to a multitude of injuries suffered at other schools. The Gracie system allows me to do Jiu Jitsu at the age of 47 without worrying if I'm going to seriously injure myself.

I'm not a fighter, never been one. Just a normal guy who enjoys Jiu jitsu. I think this school is a fantastic choice for someone who wants to learn self defense.

High level knowledgeable instructor, great location, clean, fun environment. Highly suggest.
