I'm fairly picky with my hair cuts. I'll definitely be back and schedule with Jessie so long as in the Des Moines area.

Usually get in the chair quickly and they do a nice job. I tend to request the most experienced workers and they always do a nice job.

Great Hair Cuts, good service on a timely fashion and this is my second time back. Will be going there again.

I came in to get a couple inches off and face framing type curtain bangs and the lady i got didn’t introduce herself so idk her name but she dropped the scissors on me twice and was searching up how to do curtain bangs on tiktok.

Excellent experience. Not my normal store that I go to, but they knew exactly what I needed for my haircut. It came out wonderfully. I couldn't be happier!

Absolute robbery they can charge what they charge for the worst haircuts I’ve ever had done to my boys. I just wanted one break to take some stress off us and took them to get their hair cut. The one lady immediately yelled at my son that he better sit still or else we aren’t going to be doing this haircut. Before he even sat in the chair. He is 4. His hair was all sorts of different lengths all over his head it looked like a child cut his hair. She was rude and never once smiled. The other lady was older, slightly nicer, but clearly inpatient with my ONE YEAR old. Saying he just doesn’t want to sit still. Have they ever cut a child’s hair in their life? ! What BABY has ever sat still for more than a few seconds at a time. His hair was a complete mop still. No shape or anything to his hair. I don’t believe on shorting or walking out because people have bills to pay but I will never ever come back here in my life. Attached is the top of my 4 year olds head after I came home and had already fixed the bottom fade.

Melody is the only one that knows how to cut my boys hair. It's very thick and not easy to cut. She is always so sweet and professional. I would 100% recommend her. She absolutely amazing. Thanks, Melody for always making them look and feel good! You're the best!

Sam just fixed a bad haircut (worst of my life) from another salon, fantastically. She deserves a raise! I've had mostly good experiences here, or else it would be 5 stars based off of todays experience.:)

I come for a haircut from Alex! Sometimes they try to tell me all stylists are about the same, but his skill and technique is definitely better than anyone I have tried over the last 20 years. I moved further West 7 years ago and tried several local stylists at other GCs for a couple years, but it wasn’t the same quality (Dawn was good). I now happily drive 25 min out East just to have him cut my hair. Everyone compliments how nice my hair looks after he does them. Alex is also very knowledgeable on interesting places to eat and travel!

Now if I can just convince my teenage boys to get their very long hair cut!

I got an haircut at Great Clips in Lee Town a few weeks earlier. And the stylist said, "You looked better when you came in. " And it was true. I received an awful haircut. Oh well. At least she was honest about the damage done.

So then I went to this Great Clips in Pleasant Hill thinking they could at least fix the damage because I had a public speech to give. Nope. The stylist said he did what he could but that I needed to let my hair "grow out". That is not advice from competence.

That is now two shoddy hair cuts from a place I used to trust.

So I went and got my haircut because I’m doing a military thing at my school At central campus and I told her leave most on top and cut like half and she basically gave me a buzz cut and made is so much shorter than I said! DO NOT GO TO ANY GREAT CLIPS THIS HAPPENS EVERY TIME!

Asked for a shoulder length with layers, left with a chin length and a bowl cut. Will never return again, my hair is so uneven and butchered.

So I was in July 2nd, at the Pleasant Hill Great Clips, and got a bad hair cut. I'm not sure what her name was but she was an older lady. She is nice but the hair cut was terrible. I wasn't sure if I was coming back but I knew if I did I needed to go with someone else.

I came back today and Melody said for me to wait for her to cut my hair. I didn't expect that so I waited and it wasn't long. Now she has cut my hair before and it is always good. I didn't see the older lady there today so must of been her day off.

So Melody and I got to talking and she told me she felt bad the last time I was in on my haircut. She saw how it turned out and knew I wasn't happy about it. I didn't say I wasn't but she can tell from my facial expressions. I almost went home and tried to fix it, I didn't know if I could fix it so I left it alone. That's why I'm back so soon to hopefully fix it.

Anyways, Melody said the cut was on the house to my surprise. I tell you it is hard to get good customer service like that. She has great integrity and that goes a long way in my book. I tipped her well and she will be the only one that will cut my hair for now on. I will be back next month for her to cut my hair. Oh by the way, she did an awesome job cutting my hair and fixing it.

How in the world does the hairdresser pick up the wrong clippers by accident And practically scalp you? Not much attention was being paid and now he’s wearing a hat because of it!

The lady that cut my hair she was great! Very knowledgeable I wish I would have gotten her name, she's excellent at what she does and is patient with ederly, and disabled! I know she's from Pleasant Hill but she's living in Polk City until her and husband s home is built I had an enjoyable experience! I will be going back again!
