Halligan Coffee Company Building Lofts, Davenport IA

I currently live here, the building is rather nasty. Cleaning lady only cleans main floor and laundry room/ elevator maybe twice a week at most. Dogs daily urinate and poop on the stairs/ramp to get in. People smoke in the stairwells, packages gets stolen and nothing is done about it. They don’t take care of the outside of the building. Glass cigarette butts trash and glass everywhere. For the price we pay to live here you’d think they take better care of it.

I delivered food to this building and it was not a pleasant experience. The elevator floor is covered in pee and smells so bad. I only saw the 4th floor but that too was covered in fresh pee and had tons of pee stains and streaks. Gross

GVT lofts are great! Chelsea is great! She’s always on time with any updates or urgent matters. Very friendly staff and neighbors.

I really enjoyed my stay and would gladly had stayed if not for Family issues causing me to relocate. Chelsea & staff are absolutely the best. I also loved my apartment and the property

Beautiful apartments with excellent amenities! The prices are reasonable, and the best part is the management is excellent, responsive, and friendly. The location also can't be beat - close to many local businesses and restaurants. Highly recommend living here!

Prime location, quiet by apartment building standards, secure building, and responsive property management.

Honestly this apartment complex is just ok.

Over the last six months or so something Has happened causing a downturn. During the winter the heating systems were not adequate to just heat apartments. As many reports of the building that water is intruding in the apartments including mine although management is responsive it’s just unacceptable go to the rent that you pay. They offer private parking however it’s a torn down buildings parking lot which is turned into a junkyard that you have to walk through a dirty dark alley through puddles and mud to get too.

I realize that this is apartment living but the walls are fairly thin and you can hear everything your neighbors do to include the cement floors when anything happens drop above you all you hear is loud thump continuously.

There is it on-site laundry facility but good luck using it usually there’s other people‘s laundry left there for days at times and nobody monitors it. Good luck getting change for the machine cause there’s no change machine.

And the one elevator in the building is always on the fritz so I feel bad for the people that got to go up to the higher floors.

I have been in the apartment Building for about 18 months. I would be looking for other arrangements the near future.

Love the Building! Great historic restoration. Great location near Downtown davenport nightlife. Two blocks from the River front

We loved the huge gym in the building. As graduate students living here, our loft was perfect for us. Two of us split the $1000 rent for a loft with a river view! I would rent again if we ever make it back to Quad Cities.
