Great place when in hospital staff was great food always good clean rooms and they all work together as a team

I recently interviewed for the advertised CFO position. I flew out to Iowa Falls arriving at 2am the morning of my interview and feeling under the weather. Regardless I soldiered through and attended the in person process.
After a great first half of the process where I felt personnel connected with me and I them, the HR Director came in the conference room and told me that she was cutting the interview short because "there didn't appear to be a FIT".
You could have knocked me over with a feather! There absolutely appeared to be a fit from Hansen's side and my side. Up until that point I believed I had found a home.
When I asked what she meant she pointed to my previous employer and the date I ceased working for them. I clearly explained the situation and that I was under an NDA not to discuss.
I have never been so humiliated or treated so unprofessionally as I was today.

Came in by ambulance after motor vehicle accident. Only seen nurse at beginning other than the time it was to discharge me! The same with the CMA! Dr just listened to my heart! Ordered x-rays and poked her head in and said I didn't break anything and she was going to give me tordol and a muscle relaxant! Discharge instructions were not discussed!

After then reaching out they dug deeper into our billing issue. After a pleasant experience on the phone with them they were able to correct our bill. Thank you Hansen family hospital

I would give them zero stars but that isn’t an option. First they start with sending us a bill saying we owed before ever sending it to insurance. Received this bill twice even after calling them before insurance was involved. They tried to bill us for something that was never done. We were fighting that charge so they sent the bill to collections before we ever received a detailed bill as requested. It took them longer then it should have to send us the original bill. We are not contesting that we have a bill and we will pay it that is not the issue. It is that we request to know what we are paying for and to remove their tack on charges for services not rendered they take two months to get us the information and then send us to collects while they drag their feet to get the information.

The way the staff treated elderly was disrespectful and upsetting in the therapy department. Many times during our appointment the distraction of this shocking and rude environment stopped our appointment, when looking to our therapist who is in leadership she continued to repeat what she was saying ignoring the scene. As a medical provider myself I am without words and disgusted. Hansen’s really needs to take a look at their core values and see if they align by who they hire and how their patients are being served. We will be seeking other options. My heart goes out to others who do not have another choice.

When I moved to Iowa Falls last spring and heard local people talking about the hospital here in town it was not positive. I've had to use the ER twice since moving here and the only way I'll go back there is if I'm incapable of telling the ambulance driver where to take me.
The nurses and receptionist staff are wonderful, let me make that clear.
On Sunday, January 9,2022 I went in there writhing in abdominal pain. I was sent home in pain. Later in the day I went back writhing in abdominal pain and was told by the ER doctor to leave, get out, Nothing they can do.

I went here with swollen legs, trying to figure it out, they took blood, and did a sonagram (the same thing they do for pregnant women), and the doctor prescribed pressure socks, they haven't done a thing after spending over $500 at this hospital my legs are still swollen after a month, I wouldn't recommend this hospital to no one.

I have never had a problem with the care there, my problem is their billing. This will be the 2nd time in less then 10 years we will be leaving because of this. They are thieves, not one thing can you go in for that there isn't a charge for over $500. Had them completely paid off for over $4,500, in which some were double charges or payments were not getting added into your account. Spent over an hour getting charges settled to turn around in less than 3 weeks owning them over $2,500 again. Also sent into the insurances company my daughter had life threatening injuries at the ER from a steam burn. Fought that one too. Before you ask, yes we have insurance, this is out of pocket costs. Stay clear unless you won't your bank account to go dry.

Hansen Family Hospital has messed up so many times between myself, my children, and my close friends. An ER doctor told me my oldest sons broken leg was actually just a bug bite. My youngest son has had to go in for gluing multiple times and every time has resulted in scarring, and my son has a bald because they did it so badly his hair won't grow back there. When we couldn't get into our PCP and had to go in with another doctor, she was unbelievable rude to my son who was in pain due to an ear infection and nervous because it wasn't his usual doctor. An OBGYN told me I had a minor UTI while I was pregnant, and 2 weeks later after following doctor instructions, I was in another ER with a severe kidney infection and a hospital stay. My friends have all had absolutely horrible experiences with different aspects of the hospital and specialty care. I would recommend going somewhere else over here, every time. Whether it's a general check up, a specialty care appointment, or an ER trip, there's a good chance they'll screw something up somewhere and you'll have to go somewhere else for better care because of it.

The only person I would recommend going to in this entire place is Brie, by far the best person to see, wouldn’t recommend even going to the ER, you’d have better luck driving to Waterloo or Ames

at Hanson Hospital, I have been treated very well.

If I could give this place a negative star I would. This hospital is th most pathetic hospital I've ever been in! I would have to say I would let myself die before I'd go to this hospital for anything! Don't go to ER for anything life threatening they will wait on other people before u like a broken finger!

Avoid this hospital at all cost; the nurses let me suffer in pain for hours. They have no compassion let alone empathy or comfort to the patient! They only stand around yap and pay no mind to patients suffering! I have names for them and you can guess what B words fit them best. Last time I will ever come to the hateful unprofessional staff, nurses and doctors! Worse place to be seen.go to Grundy for professional service.the drive is worth all the hell you go threw in this torcher chamber of horrors!
