I would definitely use Mike Harman again for a realtor! I appreciated the detailed research he did and the method he used to come up with a recommended selling price. He may have been a bit too optimistic about the market with listing in early November, but it all turned out well. He was super responsive and covered all of my many questions in detail, while also listening to my concerns. He kept me up to date with the results of showings and any expressed reasons for lack of interest. It was truly a good team effort getting to the finish line and I hope to work with him again in the future!

We had a wide range of options we were considering (in town to acreage, fixer upper to turn key), but he was patient and flexible as we figured out our best fit. He was very open and honest with us about the market and the houses we looked at. On top of that, he was knowledgeable about the area and knew the history of several houses. Ben Harman was absolutely amazing. He was caring, responsive, and very helpful. It’s easy to tell that he is experienced and very good at his job. My wife and I first started doing business with him on July 31st. I was offered an EMS Pilot position in Decorah. We did not know anyone in the area. We decided we would need to purchase a home because the rental market was so crowded. I started calling around to realtors in the area. Ben was the first one to answer, although not the first that I called. He immediately took care of us. Within one hour he had sent us a few options from the area including the home we ended up purchasing. He took the time to ensure that everything was perfect for us even though we were unable to be present. Everything was completed in less than a month of speaking to Ben for the first time. We only had to wait for closing when we arrived on September 9th. If you need a home in the Decorah area I would recommend Harman Realty with no hesitation.
