The man can be rude at points in time or it my just be me they could use some redecorating same blankets for a long while. But you should always bring your own anyway.

It was clean cleaner than last time I went there this time I seen a lot of Renovations and stuff that had been done I don't know what the prices are but they're a little high is what I've Been Told like drugs go through there so I don't really recommended especially for kids to go

The owner is.a jerk but ok place for a quick one night stand. Real nice to people who stay all the time

Bad customer service I called to asked a question. The dude I talked to was very rude and just hang up on me they need to shut it down

Only a one night stay. Thank God. It was filthy, they need a thorough scrubbing EVERYWHERE.
Management says you are not allowed visitors. And evidently don't know to sand or de-ice their parking lot.

I stopped here on 2-25-21, with my son to pay for a room for a week for him. No sooner than we stepped out the car, an older asian Indian man was staring very harshly at my son and then asked very rudely and loudly what did we want and why were we there. I said he needs a room for the week. Again very rudely and loudly, almost confrontational, he asks does he have an ID. I said yes, but looked at my son and told him to come on. I refuse to pay money to anyone who cannot treat people with common courtesy. I called the day before to ask the rates, and a man with an Asian Indian accent answered the phone, so I assumed he was the owner. At that point the man was to confrontational for us to go any further owner or not.

Delightful. The staff is very prompt with keeping rooms clean and check-out time is 11am with no exceptions. Excellent stewards of maintainence amd time management, hahaha. For a phenomenal price, if you're passing through Des Moines, Hawkeye Motel is claaaaaasic.

Love it here its like i am home and i skeep the best i have and the big boss is cool and nice and is there if u need him

They was very rude. At my soor at 10: 30 for the key. And came and threw me out at 11 on the dot. No time. Very very pushy and rude. Dont have an linancey, and wont budge for anything even if money was on the way.

Terrible owner argued with about me being bit by bed bugs n the smell n cleanness still charged me. It was terrible

Dollar a dozen for the Dirty Deeds Done Dirt cheap. Actually caught this place on fire just one room mind you on accident one night 20 some years ago
