Helping Hands Veterinary Clinc reviews
14They have taken care of all of our dogs and I have never had a problem with them. Only bad thing is if you need after hours care you have to go to ISU animal clinic as Helping Hands does not have a vet after business hours or on weekends. I like the fact that I can also have my dogs boarded there. I feel more comfortable knowing the people boarding my dogs are familiar with them.
They took $300 & couldnt give me an actual diagnoses of our lil 7 lb pomapoo, said "she has a lump on her throat watch it", we did, 2 days later big hole in her neck & blood all over her bed? ! If it were a Brown Recluse or something shed be gone with NO TREATMENT! ISU emergency $500 more & shes back to herself, NEVER AGAIN HELPING HANDS
Friendly and caring. Told the truth and no hidden costs of any kind. When I ask questions they answer with knowledge and support.
These drs were my dog and cats vets when I lived in Boone. And drove 2 hours to have them spay my son's cat THAT is just how much I trust in them and their skills. Can't say enough good things
Best Vet around! Dr. McKenzie is the greatest! She truly cares about the animals and is so kind and loving. All the staff are just awesome!
Hands down the best vet I've ever used. The staff is knowledgeable, take their time explaining everything, are flexible (they really went out of the way for me. Like really, really went above and beyond) and their pricing is really low. Like, it might not be fair to them for charging so little.
Yeah, the facility isnt brand new and fancy but, if you're more concerned with quality of care than appearance, go here.
We could not have asked for a better partner in the care of our dog. Dr. McKenzie and her staff were consistently knowledgeable, professional, understanding, and wonderfully compassionate.
Time and time again Dr McKenzie has helped our dog Briggs with compassion and patience. She has been beyond helpful with explaining what the next steps are in treatment with our dog. She is the best!
Helping hands has a great vet staff. They are compassionate, knowledgeable, honest, and will discuss all options with you.
Always takes such good care of our APBT's! Other vets in the area have given us issues with boarding them, But helping hands has always been amazing, even for those unexpected emergency visits!
Took the time to truly diagnosis my dog so the treatment was effective. My other vet just kept guessing. She's a happy old dog now!
Took my first dog there for vet, grooming and boarding services until she passed from old age. The grooming and boarding services are excellent, and the prices are SO LOW! They took such amazing care of Mary. My new baby will be going there too!
First puppy and first vet visit they are amazing and so nice there! Wouldn't go anywhere else! And also didn't cost over 130 for all 1 year shots and heart worm test with 3 months prevention! But my dog is under 20 pounds still a great price! Thank you so much.
It might not be a fancy facility, but their service is top notch! Always take the time to give your pet the attention it needs and they make sure they answer any of your questions and concerns. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
