Henry County Health Center reviews
7Great doctor (Dr Situmeang) and great staff. They give you a genuine sense that your health is their priority.
Went in and was treated quickly and a
Professionally. However i had a large l 3 liters thermos with me and I forgot it. Housekeeping enter the room as I left. When I realized what I had done I called. They said they had t seen anything like it. So one star. Pay your people better so theyll return patients belongings
Was taken to ER for pain when I cough. Turned out I had 104 temp and double pneumonia, not Covid related. ER Doctor and nurse were great. But as an inpatient on the floor it was the absolute worst experience ever. Had staff waking me up at 4 am to get weighed, 5 am to wash my face with a cloth and then by 6 am everything else is happening, so no sleep for 3 nights. Then the worst of the stay walked into my room not bothering to say who she is or what her job is and she gets offended that I want to know. This hospitalist does not believe that the patient has any say about their own care. She tells me, "If you don't want to take it then just refuse the nurse. " Later she yelled, "If you don't like it here you can just check yourself out AMA and walk. " WOW Just take what we give you or get out! I will never return.
I have received good care here so this rating isn't directed at any health care employees.
My rating is based on a phone call I received one day before my scheduled surgery. A woman from the business office called to tell me I would need $1200.00 to cover my copay. I informed her that my insurance provider paid everything for this procedure. She said no that was the screening this is the surgery. I cancelled it. This was for what could be a life threatening problem. She doesn't have a clue. And she shouldn't be calling people a day before surgery to collect money.
Went to the er for various issues including trouble breathing.copd.and was essentially told not to come back unless it was an emergency. How am I supposed to distinguish between what is and what's not an emergency? Do I have years of training? I attempted to voice my concerns and is typical when I get excited my voice gets loud. I was thrown out of the er for yelling when I was not.
It is no small wonder this hospital is rated so poorly.
The entire experience was very traumatic
It’s been over 7 months since surgery & there’s still on going issues & pain. No one from the hospital has followed up on this, nor have they even showed any sympathy, no remorse, no apology or anything! Not returning any calls. We’ve asked for a referral to the U of I & was told by the nurse “We don’t do referrals, you have to get all your paper work from medical records & do that yourself”
My recommendation would be, Do not have hernia surgery by “Doctor” Tansy.
I am from arizona and ended up in your E. R.while on vacation. Everyone was wonderful from registration, nursing, phlebotomy, radiology, and especially Dr. Grekoff! He spent so much time explaining everything to my daughter and myself. He offered a course of treatment that I didn't want to do and he wasn't even upset that I chose not to do WHAT he wanted. I wanted to put him in my suitcase and bring him home to Arizona with me! Great caring staff all the way around!
