Hilton Garden Inn Sioux City Riverfront reviews
17 Broken and dirty toilet seat in addition to the WiFi giving an error every time I try to log on with my last name and room number.
This is absolutely not the Hilton top-tier style I've experienced at other locations, this one should be converted into a Motel 6.at best.
Very nice rooms with mini-fridge & microwave, and half the rooms face the river so you may enjoy a view be prepared though: whether walking to the pool or the on-site restaurant or even to your room, at some point you will experience a LONG walk.for a small-town hotel it has Las Vegas-style walks other than that everything you need is on the property, and it's all presented in a pleasing way. Staff was not wholly professional but satisfactory enough. All things considered, worth it
The room, location, and amenities were great. The staff could have been a little more professional. They were very kind and helpful to me. However, the personal conversation between the front desk staff complaining about guests shouldn't happen while other guests are in the lobby.
The rooms need a bit of work.drywall around windows our bathroom door was damaged. Great location, Great staff
Staff is friendly, attentive, and everything is clean and orderly. Very dog friendly too, with multiple outdoor pet relief or grassy areas.
We've stayed here before and had no issues but place has gone downhill. Room smelled, bed was lumpy and worst of all, we discovered bed bug bites on all 3 of us the next day. Won't be going back!
The staff was very helpful and friendly the rooms were very spacious if you get the back side you have a good view of the river nice place I will be back
Front desk takes 5 smokes breaks an hour at least, leaves the phone ringing off the hook and guest standing at the front desk while she finishes her cigarettes. Was very rude from the moment I walked in the hotel with my 3 kids and my sons cake. Charged me a $150 cleaning fee 4 days later on my card due to some orbies from my son's toy gun on the floor that they had to vacuum up. I wouldn't not recommend.
I am in town for a business trip and this is where they booked for me. It does not have a complementary breakfast, it does not have a cocktail hour and it does not have actual room service. The King suite has a very nice set up. But, I called the front desk to ask for an extra blanket and they told me I could come get one myself. I am actually at a hotel and asking for some guest services! I’m not impressed.
Great place to stay. We would definitely stay here again. Rooms are clean and generally modern. On-site bar/restaurant is a plus. Staff are polite and helpful, especially Kylie, the evening hotel desk attendant/manager.
I was surprised at how noisy the rooms were at night. Front Desk Gal was SUPER nice! Thank you! For $200/night, I was hoping for a bite to eat before I went to work. That's extra! Too bad the bedside spotlights didn't work. That would have been handy.
The hotel is located along the Missouri River and close to the Interstate so it is very convenient yet quiet.
The person who greeted me was AMAZING. It was almost 3 in the morning and I was exhausted but she was so friendly and upbeat. I normally ignore the spiel but I politely listened to her. They upgraded my room, too, which was nice.
I was great to get away. I love woorpool tubs in my rooms (suites) when I stay at hotels. The only problem was I wanted the big 3rd floor suite, with the over river lookout (Belcony) outside. I got 1st floor that don't have a good river view.but it was closer to the pool.
Perfect visit! Love the pool area! Nice hot tub and got some laps in the pool, plus a toddler pool. Hilton never disappoints!
Clean rooms, nice restaurant. Good view.we had in issue with shipping some things back home and missing some charges, but they got it corrected.
Wow.
This hotel does a spectacular job. The staff is extremely friendly. I can say that I and my plus one will miss this hotel dearly. The crave employees are wonderful. The restaurant is not only very good because of the food. It is good because they have a extraordinary staff who truly does care. I will miss going to breakfast, saying hi to the front desk, and seeing our favorite waiter at dinner. I was genuinely sad to leave after my stay. The one star reviews are simply people who did not take the time to appreciate and really care to engage with staff. Or step back and take a good look at this beautiful hotel and it’s amazing sites. If they did they would find a true treasure trove. To all of the staff thank you for making a difference. You made my stay all the more better. Five emojis that describe my experience are…
