I recently purchased a new computer from HTT. Laura was great. She took my old computer to transfer files and brought and set up the new one. She checked to see that everything was working and took time to customize it for me. She took time to show me the new features of Windows 11 and taught me a few tricks. Thanks Laura.

Has anyone had any recent experience with this company? I can’t get ahold of them to pick up my equipment which they said they couldn’t fix, actually the job they were attempting was recovering data. They told me they would not charge me if they were unsuccessful but I still would like to get my equipment back. They never seem to be open when I stop and they do not return my phone calls. I’ve even stopped there when it says that they are open in the window and the door is locked.

Great communication and they were able to fix my issues timely. Laura was awesome to work with and was able to answer all my questions. A+ service!

Ordered and replaced my laptop screen in a matter of days, for exactly the price I expected to pay - quick and friendly, recommended!

Very friendly staff, and well communicated. Unfortunately couldn't fix my laptop as it needs a new motherboard that is impossible to source (even other repair places have come to the same conclusion). What I am VERY dissapointed by is the condition of my laptop after the attempted repair. There are scratch marks ALL over the top of it. These were not there before, and you can tell that due to the similar scratch that's on their repair sticker! Hopefully they don't do the same to other products that they can fix, but it's still bad to do this to anyone's items. The scratches are completely avoidable and honestly unprofessional. Please be aware of this. I was going to give more stars for the rest of the service, but if this is what I could expect bringing in a laptop or item that is repairable, and getting this back, is really bad. And I understand that there is a damage waiver, but this is just showing negligence for customer items. Would likely choose another repair shop if I have any other repairs unfortunately. But props to Laura cause she was very nice and friendly! Also, thankfully they didn't charge me for the diagnostic either since they couldn't fix it, that is a very nice way of doing business! I did not confront them as I I do not intend to use this laptop anymore.

Knowledgeable, capable, personable, reliable and reasonable, hence five stars. Ha! I wanted the leave 5 star review and could only edit the one left 5 years ago! So consistently top-rated.

Really good service. I thought I needed a clean install of Windows. Laura suggested that the hard drive and processor should be analyzed first. Everything was explained and the pricing was clear. It turned out my hard drive was not really salvageable or economic to fix and I only had to pay for the diagnostics. Laure even provided suggestions on the technical specifications for a replacement.

Great service, Laura was helpful and quick! Installed the new laptop battery over the counter (after ordering), and I was in and out, it was great. Always use Hometown Tech when we can.
