Got an attorney to help with divorce ended up paying almost $5500 and almost losing my house for a 1 1/2 mediation what a joke

If your a Dad looking for custody representation don't use this law firm they 100 % will not support you they will take your money then take the mom side I pleaded my case to them but they kept siding with my daughter mom after the Case was over everything I tried telling them about my daughter mom came full circle and now I have full custody of my daughter with the help of another lawyer

I do not recommend the firm. My thoughts used to only be that way towards Jennifer but here we are a month later calling in multiple times and going into the downtown office asking to speak to someone that oversees her and nothing.

I experienced a slip and fall in February of this year and immediately contacted Hope Law Firm. They were eager to take my case. Not a lot of correspondence between us and didn’t really know what was happening with my case. All of the sudden, seven months later, I receive a certified letter indicating they were no longer going to represent me and my case. Now back to square one.

I’ve heard so much advertising but have yet to receive a return phone call from them regarding my online inquiries. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

Terrible if you really need help don't call them i was supposed to get phone call back at 3pm for phone interview about casa they never called even got off work early to make sure to be able to talk very um professional

Called as my son was hit by a car said they wanted to wait for why the insurance company denied claim so called back to let them know what letter said and they said its because the person didn't have insurance so they dont want to take case called another lawyer and that was not the case the person does have coverage but i am being taken care of elsewhere now

I asked for help regarding child custody I was told I would get a call back which never happened! Very unprofessional and disrespectful!

I called to “get help”. What I got, was an out of state attorney not even licensed to practice in Iowa. The attorney that I was connected with was in Las Vegas, Nevada! After explaining my situation to her, and supplying her with documentation, I never heard back from her. I sent an email inquiring about my situation and still no response. I had to call the main office in West Des Moines again. They said they’d look in to it. A couple of days go by and I get a call about 6: 00pm. This person simply tells me that the out of state lawyer, which isn’t licensed to practice in Iowa, isn’t interested in my case. No reason or explanation, just not interested. “Get help, get ignored. ”
