HuHot Mongolian Grill

My friend and I had lunch in Coralville at HuHot and it was amazing as always for me! My friend said it was his first time and was looking forward to talking family there also. I have been going for almost 24 years now and still love it every time I eat there! I am a customer for life! Thank you, HuHot, for being awesome!

Sauce of the season changes now and then, so that's fun to try out. I'm not much of the meat eating persuasion these days but all the noodles, vegetables and sauces are always spot on. Generally chill vibe in the restaurant too.

Never had anything like this! Absolutely delicious with so many different combinations. Wish there were more locations but if I'm ever back in Iowa, this will be a have to go spot.

Hibachi style where the guys at the skillet don't really care and will sooerve your dish after 30 seconds uncooked- we tried. ONCE WAS ENOUGH

I love HuHot and I have been in multiple locations, Waterloo, Davenport and this one in Iowa City is by far the best. The grill staff is so quick and friendly. The options are better on this line than some. Everything is fresh and clean, and the staff is very nice.

Always fresh and clean choices. The cook was very friendly and the server was helpful. Highly recommended.

Food was excellent and new experience for me. It was great thanks to my beautiful youngest daughter. Waitress was very nice and friendly. She kept refilling my drink. I really liked that.

Totally broken hearted at how far down this place has gone. I don't even have time to explain all the issues with how much has changed since the last time I visited and none of it for the better. As far as our server, who I assume is a Paris Hilton impersonator, she desperately needs retraining! And I'm not sure where the male server put his apron while sitting in the bathroom stall, but he carried it with the same hands used to do his business before putting it in the dirty wet counter next to the sink. And then proceeded to pick it up with his freshly washed hands. Has he been taught what cross-contamination is?

Food was good. Waitress was nice. Good prices and not very busy when we were there on fathers day

Love HuHot and really love that you get to customize to what you like. Makes ordering a breeze and if you are picky like me you only get the veggies you like. Always has great waitstaff and grill workers too.

We took the family for a birthday dinner. We like the variety of food choices and the ability to go back and try another option. Service was prompt and helpful. There isn't a lot of atmosphere and the restaurant can be noisy. We like to sit at one of the group tables in the back.
