Hy-Vee Grocery Store, Carroll IA

Enjoyed everything that I purchased that day. This store seems to have some of the most friendliest people and HyVee.

Please stop forcing us to buy 4 of an item to get the sale price. Not everyone can use or afford that much of something all at once. Not fair to those that can't.

Pricey, but great selection of good products. Sale items often not on sale for the entire week

I thought that the Hy-Vee in Carroll would be the same as the one in Fort Dodge that is simply not the case I’ve been working all day and on the road I stopped to eat on my way home I ordered hot wings didn’t take them long to get to me that when they got to me the first wing I’ve been into I chip my tooth because it was so hard it was absolutely atrocious and I’m glad that it was only six dollars which is half price from the original price for the little amount of food that they give you and the quality of the food is trash I couldn’t even finish it and I never leave food on my plate because I know there are people starving all around the world

The gentleman pictured was no help, if I heard the other employee correctly he was supposed to be helping with self check out or normal check out but instead he was on his phone or chatting with other workers. He did not have a name tag on and didn’t acknowledge me at anytime. At one point I did need help, but I didn’t receive any. I am not impressed with this Hy-Vee, isn’t it supposed to be a helpful smile in every aisle? I rarely get help or smiles at this location. But I will say, they don’t force self checkout on everyone and that’s really nice, which is why I gave it three stars.

Had to get an onion there were plenty but they were all rotten when I moved them around to try to find a good one which I didn't a bunch of nats flew off of them it was disgusting

Friendly customer service and good deals make Hy-Vee worth the trip. They can also shop for you and deliver groceries. These services are available on the Hy-Vee app as well as online.

We called after having gotten home and realized that some of the meat we bought was not so fresh, they offered to deliver new meat to us with no cost even though we live 30 miles away. They delivered within 2 hours. Amazing customer service! Will be giving ALL my grocery business to them now.

This store is slow! Slower than slow they move like frozen honey coming out of a jar in a freaking blizzard! The cashiers are slow, the baggers are slow, the stockers are slow. On top of that I try to do self check out and it alerts to something I wait around for five minutes looking for help. I’m ignored while the talk to there coworkers and friends. I just walked out and left all my stuff there.

They were right there to help me check out of do it yourself. I've done it B4 at other places, but there all different. She was very friendly and always telling me it was alright, not a problem. I love that in a cashier! Friendly and always tell me it ok, we'll get it! To many of kids cashiering. Need to at least say hi and engaged in your customers. Even when they make u angry, let it go. Try n keep up the friendliness

Went into the store to purchase couple bucket of chicken for supper. But they weren't open to make chicken. So left the store very disappointed maybe I'll get a coupon for chicken or something and I might go back to his Hy-Vee store

Me and my shipmate were riding our ship and we were told to leave but it was captains orders to stay in Hy-Vee but we had the cops called bad customer service

This store has a Starbucks in it and it is amazing they make great drinks and they sell great products I definitely recommend family or friends or even your own children own children to shop here.

I love that they have 1919 brand rootbeer. In my opinion it is one of the top rated rootbeers out there and is worth the money. Thanks HyVee.

Hy-Vee is great, it's got the best meat, dairy, etc but this Hy-Vee in particular has only a handful of good staff and other than that checking out, meat counter, even the restraunt is sloppy at times.

I was very disappointed in the appearance of the store and the lack of variety in their stock. Their produce was very high priced and nothing special. Their meat selection was sparse. I probably will shop elsewhere in the future.

Great selection in all departments. Even had the Redbreast Irish Whiskey i wanted. In store made brats are excellent and nice fresh produce. Good choice for food and bev shopping. And the cafe in the vegetable section serves a very good breakfast.

They have Everything (including a full alligator in the seafood section). Staff is very helpful. I especially like the fruit selection.

I love Hyvee and it’s very convenient, most the people that work there is awesome. Very busy during most days, I do miss them being open 24 so I could avoid so many people with my high anxiety. The manager Kevin us a good guy.

Clean store, friendly associates & a lot of choices for grab & go. Would you please out your store brand flavored water in a cooler so I can grab a cold water on my way to work?
