Hy-Vee Grocery Store, Pleasant Hill IA

Love Hy Vee do all my shopping there. They always have want I want and if they don't they order it for me it's that simple.

Quite a few organic choices,

Organic fresh bread would be a welcome addition to the store.

The baker/bakery just came up with the best combo I've ever had in a pastry, a Bravarian filled-maple frosted Bismarck. Lots of creme and nice and fresh.
Best one I've ever had.
Please keep making these.

The store itself is way smaller compared to other Hy-Vee stores and not nearly the selection of products.

Shop here every week on Sundays. Love the specials they offer. N the gas perks are awesome

All the employees were so willing to guide and recommend the products available in this store. I walked away feeling confident in what I had purchased.

Busy busy at all locations. Please do not let the standards expected and set by Corporate during the Summer. My Household believes in your Employees.

Clean, well managed grocery store. We visited while camping in the area and easily found what we needed.

Came in a few days ago to get some sale items/fuel saver coupon deals. The fuel saver access was down, which I get it.stuff happens. It how you handle it that matters. Employees aren't trust worthy when asking about deals. I wasn't able to get the gallon of ice cream I wanted because an employee claimed it wasn't with the sale. I have to come back today since the MintChip was on sale. When I got to self checkout I needed assistance so I could enter my number.there were employees around who were busy.but what happened the short, bald I believe manager playing around behind customer service? That little dude was brought from another store while I still worked there to make things better.nothing is good when he's there. I never see the dude doing anything.he wouldn't even come help me after looking at me! We made eye contact when my checkout was flashing red! He didn't know how to assist customers when the fuel saver went down. He told his already stressed employees to tell us customers to come back later with receipts. So.he wanted us to pay more than we intended to and expected us to come back if we want it fixed. I don't know his name but again.short balding dude who almost always doing nothing at customer service. Once I know your name I'm going to corporate.you DO NOT DESERVE TO BE MORE THAN A CART RANGLER!

The cashier was not very friendly and I had to initiate a hello, but the bagger was very friendly, which is why I gave it 3 stars.

Yes it's hy-vee. I love it. This one just isn't for me. Not because of the staff.just small.

Horrible. There’s always 75 employees behind the pharmacy counter and everything still takes hours.god forbid you don’t pick up your prescription when it’s ready, though, they will call you all day long for 10 days. Makes no sense.

Got what we needed easily and were out fairly quickly. Cashier and bag person seemed like they would rather be ANYWHERE but there though.

Decent enough of a Hy-Vee however it's VERY SMALL! Compared to others this is a mini Hy-Vee, selection of things is very skimpy:/ their beer / liquor selection is mediocre at best if any and they could absolutely make this place better simply by getting more product into their store and offering their customers more options rather than having the basic stuff but if you live close by and don't want to drive far I guess this place is a good store however I'd rather go to the bigger Walmart a few miles down the road which says a lot as I do usually really like Hy-Vee stores

Pleasant Hill HyVee is way more expensive and doesn't have half the items I need than any other HyVee

I just placed a call to find out if I could mail packages. The woman who answered was extremely rude and was talking to multiple people. I could not tell who she was talking to and then she very rudely hung up on me, so I have no idea if I can take packages. Why would you treat patrons so rudely? Do better.

I am so disappointed in this HyVee. We are Altoona residents and shop at both Pleasant Hill and Altoona HyVee’s. I was at the Altoona store this AM attempting to fill an Amoxicillin prescription for my sick son. They were all out but showed it in stock at your location. She called your store to see if you could pull it and fill it and we’d be on our way over there. She was instead told you were not willing to fill it as you were keeping it for your own pediatric patients. Guess what? We are a pediatric patient but not anymore. Terribly disappointed in this type of response and so was the Altoona pharmacy staff — they had never heard of such a thing.
