There is always some I ne there fruendlycready to help. It's always a pleasurable experience.

Wide selection. Wine and liquor selection was good. Good representation of local beers.
Interesting dry goods.

Clean store, helpful staff when you can find one, more expensive than a few grocery stores, however easy to get rain-checks if out of a product most of the time. Good produce. Okay bakery too.

Always a great shopping experience. However HyVee gets 4 Stars on this rating. All recycling bins for cans and glass were full and non operational. That's just unacceptable.

I go here to take my cans and bottles back because their machines take cans and bottles both at 1 machine and they take a good majority of the cans I collect. The workers closing up at 7pm have been great as well letting me finish putting cans and bottles through till I'm done even tho it's holding them up from closing down completely for an extra 5 or 10 minutes. Only complaint that I would have is I wish that they would stay open later than 7: 00 p.m. For the cans and bottle section.

I ordered a delivery order from this store. Everything arrived and was perfectly fine, but the next day I opened up some ribs to get them ready for the smoker and there was an utterly putrid stench, they were rotten.

We threw them away along with the other two packages I had bought and called them to let them know what was going on. To their credit they sent someone out within 30 minutes to delivery three new packages of ribs.

They arrived and I opened the first package, and again utterly putrid and rotten. It was so bad my fiance threw up almost instantly and we had to open all of the windows in the house. I called to tell them what had happened and they were able to refund my money for the ribs, but I honestly can't recommend that anyone buy anything in this store.

I understand these things happen and occasionally a bad package of meat might make it to the shelf, but this is ridiculous and disgusting. Just go to Fareway or even a different Hyvee I guess.

I enjoy shopping in the health food isles. Love the ten percent off on wellness Wednesdays. The store is always clean and well staffed.

The staff in this store are second to none. Everyone was so helpful and made our experience pleasant and quick.

I am a regular customer of west-lakes hy-vee and always have a positive experience when shopping at this store, unfortunately the only department that needs some major work in this store is the Hyvee Chinese/Asian food department. I observed an employee, named Son C who handles food bare handed, does not wash his hands, nor wear gloves when helping a customer, picks up food off of the floor and places it in various areas without washing his hands before helping a customer. This made me sick to my stomach and I could not eat my Chinese when I got home. Not only is this gross, but it is a major violation to health in public. I would definitely like to see some improvements made next time I see Son C. In the asian foods department. Other than that, the store is one of my local favorites.

Parking is a bit of a pain, but the selection is nice. They have a huge freezer section and their health aisles are nicely stocked and offer variety.

Lady at the customer service desk was rude when I tried to turn in my pull tab lottery ticket. I didn't realize that you had to take them to the store you got them from.

Ah, Hy-Vee, the epitome of convenience. Because who doesn't love the feeling of getting their weekly groceries done in a store that's as big as a football field?

And let's not forget the great prices, especially with the current inflation situation. It's not Hy-Vee's fault that everything from avocados to zucchinis now costs an arm and a leg. But don't worry, you can always take out a second mortgage to pay for your groceries.

But hey, at least the store is clean and organized, and the staff is friendly enough. And who needs variety anyway? It's not like you need more than one brand of ketchup or bread. And let's not even get started on the meat selection, which is definitely not suspiciously gray and almost expired.

Overall, Hy-Vee is a solid option for anyone who enjoys the thrill of overspending and settling for mediocre products. 6.9 out of 10, would recommend (if you're feeling particularly masochistic).

Stopped to get fuel with fuel saver. No paper towels at the pumps, no windshield water with the squeegee, or very little and gross. No paper in the receipt machine at the pump. The fuel saver/ pay at the pumps is ridiculously difficult (3 trips inside to fuel my truck). So, no way am I buying anything else inside. The night Mgr is not very friendly.

This place is always packed and out of stuff. AND THE PHARMACY HAS ANOTHER YOUNG GIRL WHO THINKS SHE CAN CALL ME A LIAR AND WOW I WAS SO UPSET I HUNG UP. I'M GOING TO MOVE MY MEDICINE TO SOMEWHERE ELSE. ITS A SHAME BECAUSE ITS CLOSE BUT I'VE HAD ENOUGH.

Half price apps and taps every weekday during happy hour. They have some of the best dry rub wings in the metro.

I like this HyVee a lot. The staff is always wonderful and offering helpful smiles. I come here often

Amazing! I love this grocery store. They have such an amazing selection of health foods and junk food. Something fur everyone. And it is always fresh. Very friendly staff.
