I don't normally leave reviews but I'm actually appalled at how bad the service is. I called in for an appointment because I've had a cough lately and wanted to get it checked out. I was told that two days in advance was too far ahead to schedule, and then was told to arrive for walk in clinic at 5pm. I show up at 5 and was greeted with a locked door and was waved away by the receptionist. This place is a joke

Great staff, very helpful and friendly. Really cares about you and offers great service. My family, truly gets cared for.

I moved from Missouri and throughout the last year I have encountered many unexpected health problems. Community Health Center in both Lamoni and Leon have provided exceptional health care, as well as linking me with specialists to meet my needs with hormone replacement, Achilles Tendon repair and PT, hiatal hernia surgery, and Chemical dependency. Ive been able to see a counselor regularly, and have both vision and dental screening. The clinics also provide well woman services. Community Health Center has saved my life. Free Transportation is also available. The staff goes above and beyond to be of excellent service.

In my opinion, this health facility is inefficient and disorganized, to the detriment of the patients seen there. I was seen by a psychiatrist for medication refills here, and was disappointed on several fronts. One, the psychiatrist did not write the most important script that I needed, despite a long telemedicine visit. I did not have insurance at the time, and was told that the visit cost would be sliding-scale, and it was not, resulting in a bill for the visit. Two, on the bill that my family was sent, the health center claimed they had administered a certain test which, in my opinion and to the best of my knowledge, I had not taken! And because of this "test" the amount of the bill was higher than it should have been, and trying to debate the bill with this health center did not resolve the issue. In my opinion, it seemed that the only option was to pay the bill or have it go against my family's credit score. So, not only did I NOT get the essential medication that I needed at the time, but in my opinion, my family was also billed a higher amount than necessary. This was some time ago, and to the best of my knowledge, we are still paying for this ONE visit.

This business has a bunch of very caring staff. They also have extended hours so I'm often able to go after work which is a HUGE help. We're lucky to have them in Lamoni.

Needed mental health care. Was promised a sliding scale. Instead even though impoverished, was given a huge bill. Steer clear of these people and their tactics. They would not budge on the bill either. No mercy and during a pandemic!
