Checked in at 9 pm yesterday. 17 hours and still waiting for repair on my trailer. Unacceptable customer service. Hope they address this. Worst TA in the world. Hire people who want to work. 20 hours later for 10 min fix. The counter guys are kinda crabby.the help was polite.the service was fast.but getting into the bay was 20 hours. Makes everything else look bad after 20 hours. And this is as polite as I can be at this point.

Today i located a driver assist strap i wanted. They were marked 22.99 each. Tag said same, driver assist strap. Rang up 25.99.i advised that was wrong. They didnt walk back i did and took a photo, then argued i was wrong. Not my fault its not correct. Did they assist and make right, argued it was an old tag. Hows that my issue. Just a tourist trap now. Just like ta, not for the driver anymore.

We stopped here for diesel and for some coffee and bagels. We were greeted at the caribou coffee with rudeness and no patience. The person who took our order and made our food didn’t care if it was actually edible. We received our bagels with cold sausage, a not melted square of cheese and cold eggs. I had to go back to get the cream cheese I ordered. They can hate their jobs all they want. But please make edible food. Worst $18 ever spent.

I use to love this place. Looked forward to loads this way. But as of late the staff here is so impersonal and lazy. I went in to spend thousands on some new chrome wheel covers. And they acted like I was a bother to them. Mind you, I've spent upwards of 30k here over the years. Well, I'm sorry to say today was the last time I will ever walk into the world's largest truck stop. God bless and I'll keep you all in my prayers, just not in my spending account.

Great place to stop for fuel / food / trinkets and big truck chrome. Always clean restrooms, friendly staff and several different food options available. Only draw back is fuel is usually on the high side for cost.

Beautiful truck stop in every way, the only think missing is healthy food, and this not an issue with this place, it’s a nationwide issue in all truck stops I’ve been to. If you can’t eat sugar and fat and you’re taking your 34hr break here, then you’ll starve just like I did.
Also prices ate insane where items are sometimes priced triple of the price at your local market or store.

Plenty of parking of course. There's so much parking even a long haul carrying a wind turbine blade was able to find space to shut down for the night.

I had perhaps the best grilled pork chop dinner I've ever eaten in the restaurant last night. Perfectly grilled, cooked through without being dry, salt and cracked pepper and apparently a little butter on the outside. There's a reason Iowa 80 is a mecca for truckers and it's not just the availability of parking.

This was absolutely jaw dropping. Especially coming from a place like Canada. Whoever made this place had there brain turned the hell on because this is how you make a truck stop. Over 900 some spaces to park. You have truck washes. Service centers, basically a dealership inside, a mall of restaurants, showers, laundry, driver lounge, a God damn movie theater! List goes on with other amenities. Decently friendly staff the cleaners are very nice, some of the employees at the embroidery place weren't very friendly or customer service savvy. Overall had a good experience, I'll be sure to check out the truck museum next time I come through.

Very large truck stop. Many options for food choices from fast food and a sit down restaurant. Overall fairly clean. Bathrooms could be better but are generally clean. Sometimes difficult to get back into the road from the parking lot due to the truck entrance and auto entrances being too close together

Lots of neat things to explore on both the tourist side and the truck side. Plenty of vehicles parked inside the building to view. Pizza Hut, Dairy Queen and Einstein Bros Bagels inside food court. Family bathrooms available. Nice showers upstairs and friendly DOT medical examiner. Lots of truck parking that isn’t a nightmare to access.

Like other reviews state this is a good place to stop. There is a lot of stuff to do. My family and I stopped here with our camper and stayed one night.
Note. They do not have propane. Their website says they do but we asked. Neither here nor Pilot (across the street) has it.
Overall we had a very good experience:)

In regards to the service center. I spent last Thursday &Friday (11-11 & 11-12-21, getting my windshield wipers linkage replaced. Peterbuilt in Davenport had to overnite it in. Young tech who finally installed it fri afternoon had no clue, he was using you tube on his ph for how to instructions. This morning 11/15/21, I get to making ph calls that linkage at Peterbilt costs 679.99. T/a charged my boss 886.59! $206.58 difference. Middle of invoice says labor- $280. Bottom of invoice labor total-$350.70$ difference. Total of markup (screw the customer) $276. Never again will I take a truck to them for work! Neither should anyone

Do not order anything online from this company. We ordered 4 dash vents on 8/10/21. Had not received any by Sept. 14 2021. We called and were told the items were stuck on a container on the West Coast and it could be weeks till they were released.
We cancelled the order. Bought them elsewhere.
Today, 10/5/21. Two months after placing the order and 3 weeks since cancelation, we received the cancelled order.
We called and reported the issue and a very rude Rep.told us it was our fault because Iowa 80 never cancelled the order and we would have to eat the $20.00 shipping charges plus pay the shipping to return the items. We explained we had cancelled the order and it was not our fault. Didnt do any good.
ONCE THEY GOT YOUR MONEY YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN! BUYERS BEWARE!

Iowa 80 has forgotten its roots and it shows. Its a sad day for me after 28 years of stopping here that Taco Bell was my choice after trying to eat at the restaurant. The waitress was friendly enough but the food was terrible. I left an entire plate of what they called chicken alfredo paid 15$ and some change for it then left. Its more like some horrible tasting gravy with chicken bits and noodles. Walked to taco bell paid another 9$ nd some change for dinner. I didn't want a free meal I wanted good food. Unfortunately, the night cost me 30$ to eat with a 5$ tip included. I don't blame the waitress because of a bad so called cook. The upside was the garlic bread wasn't too horrible. Thats about the only positive I've got here.

I don't mind the showers or food court and all the gifts were fun to look at. The thing that frustrated me was the fact I went to the embroidery shop and asked a lady what it would take to get my company's logo put on a hat she said it would be between 15 to 30 dollars and 15 to 45 min. I said ok walked all the way out to my truck to get a pic of the logo walked all the way back in stood there for 10 min before I asked a lady where I go to pick out a hat she points in the general direction of the hats. I go pick one out and go stand in line. After 10 minutes of standing there the lady said I needed to go stand in another line witch I did. After being pushed out of the way twice and standing there for 15 minutes I asked a lady if this was where I was supposed to be and she said yes but everyone was busy and I would have to wait I said ok no one even acknowledged I was their for another half hour when a lady said I would have to send the logo to their email and it would take two to three days to get to me and I would have to come back and pick it up. Over an hour wasted.

Don’t do it. You would think that the WORLD’s largest truck stop would have a decent restaurant. It doesn’t. We had the buffet. The pot roast was SO fatty. The carrots and potatoes were almost raw. We asked for a pile of napkins and the waitress brought each of us ONE. Nothing tasted good. Nothing. Between the 2 of us, we tried every food item on the buffet and absolutely NOTHING tasted good. There are great restaurants down the road, but at the restaurant inside the I80 truck stop there is nothing worth having. $35 for 2. A complete and total waste of time and money. BEWARE.

What to say? The world's largest truck stop lives by its name. Lots of food franchise, and a home style restaurant. Pretty big place with shiny trucks in the show room. Big store, got showers, laundry, a chiro, barber, chapel, place to relax and do a good 36.

Wow, this place is huge and so much to see! So many food options, snacks, souvenirs, stuff for your vehicle, even items for your pets. They have it all and several floors of things to look at and purchase. Definitely worth a stop, get some gas and stretch your legs. We didn't have time to do the free museum, but loved looking around at everything!

Truly a great stopping spot for an overnight visit and to just wander around the store. But be aware the prices of the merchandise is over priced and there’s no way I’ll pay more just because of the store reputation.or name
But it’s still a good experience and something that you should see, the truck museum is very good as well. I recommend you stop in to see it

Loads of parking and just about every amenity a trucker could ask for. It is a bit touristy, and priced as such, but overall if you have the chance definitely would recommend stopping here. The restaurant is also good.
