Hey, just wanted to throw this out there. Had to have some surgery done in my mouth and was sent to Iowa Oral and Maxillofacel surgans PC in west Des Moines. I have had to see several specialist here in last year over my scalp and the issues I have had, and every time I left one of there office's I was left wondering what ever happened to just taking time to listening to the patient, kindness and compassion for the patient and not rushing them or thinking I am just another specimen for them to poke a prod at to the rudness and unfeeling Dr's, nurses the even the receptionist. Theses people at the Iowa Oral and Maxillofacel surgeon's from the rectionist, nurses and surgeon was outstanding very caring and concerned talked to me like I was human and the mannerisms they displayed was over and above! So if you are ever in need of mouth of facial surgeon give them a try you won't be disappointed!

They were very thorough on what was wrong and what my options were to fix it. They worked in a timely manner and got the job done.

Wonderful experience! All of the staff were great, especially Dr. Harvey and his assistant Jeff!

Very professional, timely and polite. Did a very good job of explain everything before hand and made sure i understood everything. Made certian of what I was looking for and accommodated my needs while ensuring the best possible option was achieved.

Everyone was professionally and friendly. They got me in for my procedure, taken care of and explained everything to me well

I love Dr. SUNSTRUM. She is caring and even called me at home in the evening after my surgery.

The staff is very professional and does well at putting you at ease. It was my first time having a surgery of any kind so I was nervous but all went well. They were informative before and after the procedure. Did a follow up call after i was home and made sure I knew that their 24 hour number was there in case I needed it. I will return if I ever need more extensive dental needs.

Started on time. Visited w the doctor and nurses about the procedure, the IV was a piece of cake, went to sleep, woke up, collected myself, and went home w one less tooth, & some grafted bone. Will return in over a month! Great job!

Wonderful to work with. All of the staff was so welcoming to my daughter and helped her feel more comfortable for her procedure.

THEY HAVE DONE A NUMBER OF DENTAL PROCEDURES ON ME AND ARE ALWAYS HELPFUL, PROFESSIONAL AND TIMELY.

Dr. Harvey and Jeff and all staff I have came in contact with have been very knowledgeable and personable and professional. Today we ran into a huge issue created by another business (nothing to do with this clinic) that almost prevented, me from getting my procedure. I have been in pain for a week because certain events had to happen before I could get this done. I don't handle problems well and was about to shut down when we all talked and the group of them came up with a solution that would take care of pain today and finalize tomorrow. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and Jeff and Dr. Harvey. You all made my day and helped keep me going in the right direction.

Outstanding experience! Going to a dentist or oral surgeon is NOBODY'S favorite thing to do! But docs and staff here did a phenominal job of making me feel at ease, comfortable, and ensuring very minimal pain. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I would give 10 stars if I could. I was referred here by Dr. Edwards because I had a tooth to be removed by an oral surgeon. I am absolutly terrified of dentists. Jeff and Dr. Harvey went above and beyond to make me comfortable. I had a great experience. I would recommend them to everyone. THANK YOU

Careful, expert and pain free experience with extractions done here. Highly recommend them for oral surgery.

Dr. Jirsa is a true professional and made the wisdom tooth removal process a breeze. Highly recommend.
