The place was efficient, my only issue was with Scott Meyer, who minimized my pain, tried to talk me out of an MRI because “it wouldn’t tell us much” and told me there wasn’t really much he could do after taking me out of pt that I had been in for 6 months because “I can do it at home now”. I transferred care to another dr after the MRI, I have cartilage splintering and an impingement of the fat pad behind my patella. I have 5 different options to help my pain. I wouldn’t have gotten that with Dr Meyer. Iowa ortho happily set me up with another doctor who was incredible

I have not had great experiences with Iowa Ortho. I have seen two doctors and have been to multiple different appts. I feel like my time is not valued and that I am just pushed around with little to no respect given. I attended a consultation and I feel the doctor was trying harder to leave the room then to address any concerns or questions I have. He didn't even ask if I had any questions, instead talked over me the whole time I tried to advocate for myself. I have given them multiple chances but now looking into other clinics.

I went to see Dr. Schmitz for Spondylolisthesis that has been affecting me for years and first thing they did was take X-Rays. Once they were done Dr. Schmitz came in and went over in detail my X-Rays with me. He did not hesitate to move forward with explaining and preparing the fusion surgery process. I was given a booklet explaining the surgery process and they will be reaching back out soon to start scheduling everything that needs to be done beforehand. Every other doctor I’ve seen has wanted to only stick a bandaid on the issue or not do surgery at all.

Saw Dr. Gainer for my wrist pain. Very helpful and professional. Explained the whole procedure and answered all my questions.

He was compassionate, very knowledgeable, made me feel comfortable, and zeroed in on the problem quickly. I am so glad that I happened to get an appointment with him instead of any of the other doctors. My sister is familiar with him from doing workers comp, and was happy that he would be my doctor. She thinks he is the best in the group.

The office got me scheduled very quickly. Dr Mike provided me complete explanation of what was going on with my right hand/trigger finger. Proposed an immediate treatment, what to expect over next 30 days. Great experience overall - Thank You!

This office has by far, the best turn times and efficiency. Amazing customer experience! Each time I have visited, once I check in, they call my name within 2-3 minutes. Once in the room, the nurse takes vitals and the doctor is in the room within 2-3 mins. Last time, I had an x-ray and my total time in the office including that was approximately 10 minutes. I wish other offices would be this efficient.

I have been to 2 other places for the issue i am having. This is the first place that has actually listened to me about the pain I am having. PA Jared Carter is a great listener and makes sure everything is addressed! Best experience yet

The Dr listen to everything I had to say. He gave me time and did not rush me. He also had his opinions and ideas. Ones I never heard of but made sense. Thank you looking forward to moving forward and talking with neurologist.

I had an appointment on November 29, and I felt totally satisfied by the level of professionalism of the people who work there! From the person at the reception, the nurse, the Doctor and of course the girl who supported me in the translation and interpretation in my process! Thank you so much

Overall, the online process of registering and completing the intake forms went smoothly. I was surprised by the amount of questions needed to complete the forms. But, I understand it’s probably needed.
The office seemed a little busy when we arrived and the staff appeared rushed in completing the check-in process with us. Once we were called back, the check-in nurse seemed friendly in gathering some information from me and explained what would happen during our visit. After X-Rays were taken, we finally had the chance to meet Dr. Schmitz. He quickly explained what he noticed from the X-Ray pictures and then proceeded to go over surgery protocols to remedy my spine condition. We were given a handbook along with some pre-op instructions.
Dr. Schmitz seemed friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable regarding the details of this surgery and the risks involved. We are confident he will do an excellent job.

Dr. Gainer is a great hand doctor. He has helped me over 16 years with excellent results. He is very professional, friendly and timely.

Dr. Vinyard was great with our son. Was very thorough, took his time and listened to our concerns.

Dr. Vinyard and his team at Iowa Ortho are thorough, thoughtful and efficient in their care. A terrific user experience, I’ll recommend them to anyone in need of their service.

Everyone was kind. We didn't have to sit for a long time to see Dr. Beecher. He led me through making the right decision for me which I appreciated.

Dr. Vineyard preformed rotator cuff surgery on my shoulder. Easy to talk to an answered all my questions. Successful surgery.
