Stopped for no license plate light. 2nd officer showed up. Was asked to step out of my car to sign situation on front of officer Mackey's vehicle. When finished signing, officer told me I was free to go. Other officer came to me talking about his service dog n how he works. I started to walk back to car only to be stopped from doing so and was told his dog hit on front passenger side of my car. I did not see the officer with his dog "hit" on my car. I did not consent to search of my car. 2nd officer said he needed no consent for his dog hit on my car. The 2nd officer started the search. About an HR into search, a 3rd officer showed up. At this time Officer Mackey proceeded to search my car too. I asked to be part of the search n was told standing back away from the searched car, that I was part of the search. Could not see any part of the search of my car. Inside car searched, trunk search involved removal of trunk liner n spare tire. Under hood search. All groceries were removed n placed on top of car. I did not see any search of grocery bags except the bag was the PJs. When finished, all bags were heaved in back seat n floor boards. Couldn't even enter driver's seat for the seat was so far forward n groceries stuffed in Behind seat. Had to readjust grocery bags to be able to sit in car. Was given a citation for lack of updated insurance. Never one word about the issue why he stopped me. So I asked about it. Was told by officer Mackey that no fix it ticket was written because it saved ME the time n effort of having to report back to him when the issue was resolved. A disposable juul vape was confiscated n to be sent in to be "tested". No paperwork was given to me, no documentation of removed property. Very poor demonstration of "serve n protect".

Sheriff Dan Jacobs provided exceptional service while dealing with a victim of domestic violence, Sheriff Dan Jacobs ensured the victim of proper safety protocols, proper advisement on how everything related to this matter will proceed forward in a Court of Law:) I am extremely impressed with Sheriff Dan Jacobs work ethics and his professionalism towards people that are beat by low life men that feel it is okay beat on a woman:) I hope Sheriff Dan Jacobs wins the Lottery:)

10/10 would not recommend y’all can’t even do the basic steps of finding a missing person
