Kula's It's Just Sauce, Walker IA

Kula's by far is the best smoked prime rib around. Tender juicy and perfect flavor. We also had pizza, broasted chicken and a good ole cheese burger with our group. Service was great and loved the atmosphere!

Definitely worth a short drive! We will be back! The wings were some of the best we’ve ever had and both pizzas were excellent! Fun family-friendly atmosphere, good beverage variety and great service.

The smoked wings were crazy good. My whole family loved the food and our waitress. We are planning our return to try more delicious food.

Best brisket dinner we've had in a long time! It was seasoned and smoked to perfection. Hats off to the chef! We will be back.

Stopped for their buffet. The chicken was delicious. The salad bar was good and nice selection of pizza.

Went there last night for the first time. All I can say everything was delicious! It was buffet night. From staff to food was great. Definitely going there again!

Been there once. I definitely will return. The food was very good. The staff very friendly. Big place so don't be afraid to make the trip to Walker, Ia.

Best restaurant experience! Friendly, happy to see you faces and award winning dishes! Tried the new special, pork rolls, perfect! Highly recommend the trip, just a short drive.
VERY CLEAN!

Tried it over a year ago and ended up leaving without food due to slow service. Went back today for a completely different experience. Service was fast and attentive. Food came out quick and was delicious. My wife said the prime rib special was the best prime rib she's ever had. I can't imagine a smoked wing any more perfect than what I received. Whatever the issues were before it seems like they're gone. The food is undeniably amazing and worth a drive out of your way. We will be back for sure.

If you aren't local to Walker, it's definitely worth the drive! Prime rib night is awesome! You won't leave hungry for sure.

Hidden gem for pizza lovers. I'm a little surprised I've never seen this place show up on any lists of the best pizza in Iowa. I've tried just about all of the usual suspects on those lists, and Kula's belongs in the conversation.

They're definitely more known for BBQ, and promote themselves that way as well, so perhaps that's why the pizza flies under the radar. But it's legit. Absolutely loaded with quality toppings, with a unique crust that can support it all despite being relatively thin. Very fair price, considering both the quantity and quality you're getting.

I live in Iowa City, but love picking up a pie to share when driving north to visit my parents. I highly recommend venturing off the beaten path to Walker, if you often make a similar trip for family or business. Great way to avoid the new speed cameras in Independence, Oelwein, Fayette, etc.too!

I took one star off, because I did have to stop going here for a couple years. My dad was paralyzed with ALS, and I was taking care of him on the weekends. Kula's didn't take any covid precautions at all, from what I could tell. It just stopped being an option for someone in my situation, which is a bummer because it's something I know my family would've enjoyed during a really rough time.

We had a sandwich with mold on it, our pizza was way overcooked and the cheese was hard instead of gooey, (we have had this pizza several other times and it was never like this! Was always delicious!) took at least 10 mins to get drinks, and it wasn't packed so that can't be the excuse. Very disappointing visit this trip.
And it is always so loud and echoes badly hard to talk with people at your table.

Oh my gosh. When I crave breasted chicken this is the place I go, my family and I drive 30-45 minutes for their food, mom loves their pizza and dad and I get broasted chicken and waffle fries go share. Absolutely yummy!

Their service is as amazing as their wings. Nice drive up from Cedar Rapids for a small town bar. One of our favorite BBQ places.

Great food, great owners and a wonderful staff that takes care of us every time we go and that's why we keep going back. The barbecue and smoked meat is the best around.

The food here is the best “bar food” around here. I always get the shrimp and it’s always cooked perfectly- and don’t get my started about the mac and cheese. I don’t know if it’s homemade or what but it is my favorite ever. My boyfriend gets the Texas fries or the Kentucky fries if they have them. They are soooooo good. I recommend this place to everyone!
