KWIK STAR #1008, Marion IA

Yesterday, my parents were on their way back from Omaha and my dad "accidentally" left my mom at this gas station in Marion Iowa. His phone was off and he got all the way home (2 1/2 hours away) before realizing she wasn't with him. She was stranded here for 5 hours until I could get to her from Omaha, and the employees here were absolutely incredible and compassionate. They even went so far as to check cameras to make sure he hadn't been hauled off at gunpoint when she couldn't get a hold of him. Police were called, they made sure she was well cared for, fed, and as comfortable as she could be. Luckily all ended well and we are all home safe, but I told my dad that while we will DEFINITELY be stopping there again he may not want to show his face.

Thank you to one of your employees named Jeremy! I was filling up my tire at this location and my tire was so old it popped. I ended up have to put a spare on. I have been taught how to change a flat tire but haven't actually done it. He saw I was in distress and asked if there was anything he could help with I explained what happened and he proceeded to help me change my tire. He was so helpful and positive, I would still be sitting there if it wasn't for his kindness! So thank you so much to Jeremy at the Marion Carlson Way Kwik star! You saved me from a flat tire and from letting it ruin my day!

I like Kwik Trip/ Kwik Star, but this is one of the worst ones in the chain. Every time I go there, multiple pumps are bagged OOS, and I have yet to get a receipt printed at the pump. The washer buckets smell horrible, and paper towels are often out. Been one plus years since I've been to this one, and it may be my last time. You can do better Kwik Star, you are better than this.

Good place. Always clean. Friendly staff. Food is almost always full. Love Kwik star. Make sure to get the reward they add up fast.

Just purchased gas here. I often choose this gas station because it is clean and employees are very pleasant and helpful.

I literally live across the street from this store and instead of going here I go to the truck stop Kwik Star instead. Why? Because of your employees. Well, one employee in particular. There's a woman who works there who has a long, blonde-ish ponytail and she is always hella rude to me. I will be in line and she will be totally friendly with the person in front of me and then I get to the register and she's all nasty. She's actually thrown my change onto the counter before instead of just handing it to me like a decent human being. And then she'll go back to being friendly to the person behind me. I don't understand why, but I don't really care anymore. I am a customer, paying for goods, she has no right to treat me like that or act like a petulant child. Other than her, the store is fine. But one bad apple ruins it all.
