La Casa Mexican Resaurant reviews
32I'll make it short, since new ownership it's not the old La Casa. Prices went up and quality went way down. Food very bland no taste. Margarita's watered down. Hate to say but we won't go back $70.00 for 3 meals not worth it.
It has improved significantly under new management! Food was what I expected. Portion size was more than generous. Staff was prompt and friendly.
Wow! I love la casa! The service is AMAZING and the food is even better. I feel like im in casa at la casa. Best place ever! 10/10 reccomend!
Great food. Not authentic mexican but really good. It's like going to El Rodeo in Des Moines. The plates of food are good portions, they do not skimp. Will be frequenting this place a lot.
La Casa used to be a "must" when I come home to visit. Came here today, it was awful. Bad service. Had to ask 3 times for our drinks. Margarita barely had any alcohol in it. Food just did not taste the same. So disappointing. Will not be coming back here again. Also, they had music blasting on the stereo. Bathrooms were filthy, so gross. La Casa, when you change prices on the menus, you might want to re-print them.
Good food love the place. Except my co-workers want to eat here every single day and get the same thing. Other than that its great
The last time I was there the food was wonderful! But when we returned the food was not as great!
This is hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the Des Moines area. Always friendly service and hot food
This is probably the best place to get Mexican food in Indianola. It's well known and loved by locals. The service is fast and features an extensive menu of traditional Mexican food. They will have all your Mexican food standards and lots of seating for individuals or larger groups. It also has an outdoor patio if that floats your boat.
Fun atmosphere, very nive setting with outdoor seating as well. Super fun place to go for a birthday, they do not disappoint! Delicious food at an affordable price.
Amazing food and service as always. Have been stopping here for the past several years and have never had a bad experience.
Don't offer vegetarian dishes like other Mexican restaurants. You pay the same for meat dishes and have to ask for no meat.
1 member in our party ordered the steak Ranchero with out sauce. (Ok I know, why go to a Mexico restaurant if you don't like the sauces) Well it came with sauce, we sent it back. Took way to long to get a proper order. And it appeared the sauce had been put on the 2nd stake and then removed. Maybe maybe not.
That said we usually get pretty good service and food there.
First class wait staff, great drinks, good kids menu along with the best Taco carne asada around.
Nothing tastes original. If you have ever eaten at a really good Mexican restaurant, you will see the difference immediately. Friendly staff though!
Really good food and services. I was there for lunch and got the fajitas and it was a lot of food. Two of us ate for $18.
This is my go to Mexican restaurant. I'll travel 30 minutes to eat here. Great food and service.
Great food, great service! Took a bus of 35 high school Spanish students. Quick service, amazing food, great decor and experience!
Food was below average.super greasy! Getting seating for a large group was a bit of a hassle and settling up the bill after the meal took FOREVER!
