Drink was amazing, Customer service sucked! First time here and they were annoyed that we asked about the drinks

Stopped here over the holidays, right away you notice the long wall of cute jewelry that is absolutely perfect for couples, the plentiful space and casual seating, and the ordering counter sat in the middle on the wall.

The process of ordering is can be confusing by just looking at the pictures and flavors on the wall. I would strongly recommend asking the employees for assistance if you find yourself feeling overwhelmed. The employees here seem young and likely won’t offer you help if you’re needing help ordering.

The drinks here are pretty and delicious, most will come in this cute bear-shaped bottle, and the prices here average at about $7.

I ordered a Mango Yakult and my girlfriend ordered a Strawberry Tornado.

The best milk tea shop in Iowa city. My favorite drink is peach tornado, it comes with peach slush and yogurt, highly recommended.

The best bubble tea in Iowa City. I can’t live without it. This is the most authentic bubble tea I have ever had in the States. Their drinks even better than those in NYC.

Tried the mango pomelo sago 杨枝甘露
it is SO different from what it’s supposed to taste like.this is supposed to be a sweet drink but when you first sip it it tastes salty, and this keeps happening as you sip — you taste the saltiness (almost tastes like pork floss肉松) then it’s semi normal.do not recommend this drink, for 7.5 dollars it’s definitely not worth it

I live in the Quad Cities, but whenever we go to Des Moines, we usually make a stop here. I usually order brown sugar with milk when I don’t want caffeine.when I do want caffeine, I order their tiramisu cake milk tea or their dirtydirty; the signature but with extra brown sugar. My mom loves their crystal boba, because it has like a harder jelly-like consistency.she usually doesn’t finish her drinks, so with this type of Boba she can still drink it the next day. The thing about tapioca pearls is that they can be inconsistent.some days it’ll be a bit hard and then sometimes it’s perfect.

The last few times I went it was great, the workers were kind and the service was speedy. This time the worker who took my order was rude, asked "what do you want" while glaring at me. I paid for a Uji matcha with honey tapioca, it costed around $7.50. I paid for the tapioca in it but after I leave and take a drink. There's no tapioca in my drink.

I love this place! I always get the cake milk tea with boba and 0% sugar. The boba makes it plenty sweet for me and the whipped topping + ground Oreos on top are delicious with the milk tea. By far my favorite boba drink anywhere!

Always love La Tea, today the bubble tea taste very poorly&unfavorable for the unreasonable price

The Tea is good, every time I go there. It's about what I would pay at Starbucks. The gentlemen who is there usually as the cashier just always seems like he's in a bad mood. Every time I've been there, so maybe that's just how he looks but it throws my mood off every time.

Highly recommended! I really like the atmosphere and the great service. A place that I will definitely visit often. My top favorite are mango and peach flavor tornado. They also have excellent seatings, a good place to chill at.

Very satisfied with this place - milk tea was smooth, delicious, and boba was a nice size and very chewy.really loved the flavors overall, and this place had some of the best custard i’ve ever had!
