Everyone was so kind and really seemed excited to get my appointment and operation scheduled. The LASIK itself was a bit scary (as it would be for anyone) but they talked me the whole time and tried to take my mind off of it. It was a super short procedure and I was in and out in around 5 minutes. They walked me through the aftercare instructions a few different times so it was super clear what my next steps were. My vision is better than 20/20 now! I am so glad I did it, I’ve been telling my friends to get LASIK all month.

I finally pulled the trigger and got Lasik last week. Highly recommend LasikPlus, the staff was amazing and it was such a smooth and easy process. I wish I would have done it sooner. Buh-bye contacts and glasses!

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! Each of them open and willing to answer any questions or concerns. It definitely made the experience easier and less stressful!

Let me just say I am so glad I got this done. Between the professionalism and just overall friendly nature of the staff really put me at ease. The whole process was easy and efficient. I was absolutely terrified about getting this done and when the staff saw my nerves they offered to hold my hands through the whole surgery. I'm just blow away by how kind and genuine the girls were. Dr. Maw and the entire Team at LasikPlus were absolutely AMAZING! They explained everything leading up to my Lasik surgery and the procedure itself was quick and easy.
The day after the procedure I could see better than I can remember ever seeing.
I went into this process needing progressive lenses (or contacts) and now I am no longer needing them. They had a solution for me.

I thought about lasik for a long time but was scared to do it. I was so sick of wearing glasses constantly that I finally went for it. They were AMAZING! I had the best experience. The entire team was so nice, helpful, and very reassuring the entire time. The procedure itself was super quick I’d say less than 10 minutes and the doctor was very kind and gentle. I was nervous but the girls held my hands and made sure that I was nothing but comfortable. I was in and out within and hour and they weren’t kidding when they said the first 5 hours after are the hardest. You just need to sleep through it which wasn’t hard and when I woke up I could see clearly and felt fine. Day after I was even better. Today I am 2 days out and I feel completely normal no pain whatsoever. Just follow their directions and it will be the best experience. Get rid of those glasses/contacts I promise you won’t regret it. I’m so happy that I did it!

Everyone was awesome the only reason for the 4 star is the long wait was under the impression it was in an out kind of thing.

Would absolutely recommend LasikPlus to everyone! I was so nervous and EVERYONE was so compassionate. The dr made sure I was comfortable and ok. The girls all stood by me during the procedure to help comfort me. They were informative with everything. My follow up visit was very thorough in what to expect in the coming days/weeks. If you are even slightly considering LASIK, get your consultation scheduled with them!

I can’t say enough good things about Lasik Plus in West Des Moines. The entire staff is so friendly and comforting and Dr. Maw was quick and effective. I am 3 days post procedure and it went perfectly! Incredibly happy with my results and will recommend lasik to anyone who asks!

I received Lasik from Dr. Maw and the wonderful ladies at LasikPlus yesterday and I can’t recommend them highly enough. After years of skepticism I went in for a consultation. To my surprise the star was friendly and they got me in and out so fast it was hard to believe. It’s been three days and I’ve never been able to see like this. I would do it again

The staff is great and the customer service sets the bar. I had looked at other Lasik options elsewhere and they didnt communicate or seem to care, West DesMoines took the time to answer every question and walk you through each step along the way- including Dr Maw during the process! The 3 wonderful ladies at the front counter were fun and had a great sense of humor to keep the mood light and every customer I encountered in the waiting room reciprocated my thoughts as well. The first appointment can take a little while but it is because of ensuring everyone is taken care of. Fast easy process, clean environment A+!

I found the offices to be modern and efficient. The process from exam to same day surgery took a little longer than expected but the surgery was fast. I’ve been having troubles with recovery but the doctor has been super helpful with giving me the tools and knowledge to continue to heal.

Great experience from the consultation to the follow up appointment after the procedure was done. Staff were very friendly and answered all my questions. Highly recommend using them if LASIK is in your future.
