7Only home (Master's Hotel) in its original setting that Laura Ingalls family lived in for a year. Stop at small brick bank bldg across street to pay $10 admission to tour bldg & for informative tour guide. Nice restroom & gift shop at bank also.
I would have loved to have took the tour inside but the young lady was not very interested and I was pressed for time.

I'm not a museum gal, but this was interesting & very informative staff.
Visited just before Laura Days in June 2023, and even with all the prep they must have been doing, staff was wonderful. Our tour guide took the time to call out interesting details and answer questions. After years of wanting to see a Laura Ingalls museum, this was a pleasant surprise. Priced well, great history, cute little gift shop.
We enjoyed our tour. The rapid pace of our current lives was suspended for a bit as we walked through a time that seems so long ago.
