Lavish Nail Bar, Storm Lake IA

This was my second visit, and both times were wonderful! The staff is kind and friendly, so are the customers. It’s a great place to pamper yourself! Thanks for doing such a beautiful job on my nails!

I arrived at salon for my appt, bringing along my 9 yr old son and his service dog. Was approached by a lady who seemed to be in charge. She told me the dog is not allowed, and pointed at No Pets sign on the window. I told her it's not a pet, it's a service animal and it is illegal for her to refuse the dog. She stated she had an incident in the salon with a customer's service dog, so she allows no animals because of this. I handed her the a card from the ADA, which lists the rules, but she wouldn't take it from me so I put it on the counter. I told her I would be calling the ADA. She told me she had previously spoken to "a lady from ADA" and was tod yes, she is allowed to refuse any customer. I told her I'm sure the ADA would not have told her she could refuse a customer because of a service animal. I told her she can get into trouble for her actions. She reluctantly allowed my son to sit on the couch by the door and directed me to a pedicure station. I shouldn't even have stayed and given them my business, but I had been waiting days for this appointment and wanted my pedicure. My son's dog simply laid at his feet the entire time, as he is trained (by professionals) to do.
At the end of my especially speedy pedicure, (the lady doing my service seemed rushed and did not talk to me other than asking me to choose a color), I went to the counter to pay. I was charged $55, even though the sign posted in the salon said the basic pedi was $25. I did get shellac polish, which there is an additional charge for, but that should not have added another $30! I will never go to this salon again and will file a complaint with the ADA!

I love. Love, love Lavish! I have gone here since day one. I am Always satisfied with the service I receive! Always get exactly what I ask for! Connie is amazing and so are her techs! I always recommend.

From the moment I walked in I was greeted with hospitality the service was great they were very patient I received great treatment there and I would recommend lavish nail salon

The lady was very rude through out my entire appointment. She wouldn't let me do the length or design I wanted. And she cut my friend with the drill. Waste of $70 honestly. I do not recommend. She also was dissing all the other nail salons in town then asked me to leave a good review.that's simply not how that works.

Favorite nail salon ever! I’ve been going to this salon for over a year and even brought my bridal party and they accommodated very nicely! When I came in for my bridal nails the owner had exactly what I needed for my wedding and was so so excited to do them! It definitely took some stress off for that busy day! The ladies are so welcoming and so fun! Their pedicures are amazing! Especially their sugar spa pedicure! The salon is always so clean and feels so inviting! I’ve never have had any issues with their dip either, that stuff is strong! Definitely would recommend to everyone!

My nails are roughy and not filed properly. The lady who did my nails made one of my fingers bleed. The lines that i asked for on one of my nails are not symmetrical and not even how i wanted them. The length is shorter than the picture I showed and what I asked for. There is a dry, ashy substance around my nails on my skin.

Easy to make an appointment. Nails look amazing and they ask me if the length is good and if I'm happy with the color I picked.

I have been going to Lavish Nails for a long time. They have great customer service. They accept walkings, her art skills on my nails are perfect I highly recommend.

I loved the way the left my nails. The girls are super friendly and make sure you like what they are doing. Definitely going back!

Lavish Nails in Storm Lake is the place to go. Connie and her husband and all of the girls are fantastic! It is very rare that you can get service as a walk in, but you can here. All you need to do is tell these girls what you want and they will deliver. Also if there is a problem with a nail after you have left you can go back and they will fix it free of charge. I just had a mani/pedi today and was out in an hour and a 1/2. Some of the bad reviews I have on here seem ridiculous. You have to tell them what you want and if something is not right. They cannot read your mind. And the pedicure menu is right there and tells you what is done for each level. You might want to read that next time before you give a bad review. Lavish nails is the best place to go. I would highly recommend it to Anyone!

I've Been Visiting Lavish Nails for a while I have always felt welcome decent prices Love how the Owner does my Dip helps me find the right colors does my Nails extremely well NO COMPLAINTS! This was absolutely the worst place I’ve ever had my nails done. I got a basic pedicure and the women who did my nails cut my toes and feet up so bad I was crying. Yet I still got charged full price AFTER they had to redo a whole foot. Then I got dip nail, and wasn’t able to get tips put on and now have the shortest nails EVER.
Wont be going back.
