Lina's Mexican Restaurant, Des Moines IA

Ordered $80 of food, told them we were missing FOUR tacos and they were arguing with us about PRICE. They hung up on us multiple times while we were simply trying to resolve the missing tacos issues.

The service was fast, the prices were good and the tortilla chips were delicious. This a great stop for a fast bite. Try the shrimp burrito, it was packed full of amazing flavor and piping hot.

Good food and great portions for the price! Quick service even at lunchtime, overall a great experience. I recommend the chorizo burrito from the breakfast menu.

We ordered from Grub Hub and this has nothing to do with our driver as she was amazing (picture of delivery and all!). Our order was so cold it felt like it came off of a buffet table and basic items were missing. We even ordered the 16oz chips and salsa as this does not come with your basic order and it tasted like Ragu or Prego with chopped up jalapenos and cilantro just to make it look like a thick salsa at first. Currently we are reheating our meal and trying to find left over salsa to make what they gave us edible!

I love Mexican restaurants around the Des Moines IA area, but this is one I will never spend a cent at again! Please do not support this establishment.

Food was cold but plenty they didn't put the cheese in order and my lemonade was flat mt.dew that needed more syrup. Was delivered fast.

Absolutely excellent food for any time of the day and night. One of the few places left in Des Moines that is open after midnight.

Absolutely HORRIBLE and slow service. Incredibly rude and dismissive, took over an hour to get an order that we ordered for takeout.

Don't expect to get greeted like you're at chick Fila or something when you're in the drive thru. After ordering, you won't even know if they heard you right or if it's time to move forward, but don't worry, whatever you get will be. Breakfast burritos are amazing!

Foods decent but maybe don’t advertise that you’re open until 3 am if the kids working for you refuse to do anything after 2: 30

I absolutely love this place. It is authentic, the sizes are more than other places that charge the same if not more and I would refer them to anyone for amazing food! I will always go here before taco bell, tasty tacos or even taco John's. The only downfall is I am allergic to Capsaicin so I can't eat much of their menu. I always have to request no Jalapeños or any other pepper and they always make sure to keep all that off my plate and not on my order. Thank you Lina's team for keeping my kids and myself safe by not ignoring our requests, while others do.

The place said open 24 hours. There were still workers inside at 3: 00 a.m. With five people in line and they said they were closed

Called to check if they were still open, they said they were and when we got there they took everyone else’s order in front of us but wouldn’t take our order and suddenly they were closed

Ordered food ask for it a specific way pay for it and they messed it up and said that’s not what ordered customer service is bad he laughed about the whole time and did not to fix the situation they were rude and the food was cold.

Over half the order missing. Food ice cold and bland. Did not remove the guacamole or sour cream from the 1 order of tacos we received (out of 3 taco orders we placed tonight). I ordered a steak torta topped with "fajita vegetables", it was ground beef with no seasoning and an entire slice of raw onion on it, not cooked, not even broken apart.a 1/4" thick, fully intact slice of onion! Queso and chips were odd tasting and cold like they were straight out of the refrigerator. Almost $50 for complete disappointment.

We stopped by while headed back home for some "authentic Mexican " food to go.
- Poor customer service: took our order, did not day to pull forward after going quiet and not even asking if we needed anything else. Gave us our bag and ahit the window quickly.
- We ordered a torta de asada, and asada tacos which were not authentic tasting. They had no flavor, I'd call them more American style than Mexican.
