Linder Tire Service, Inc., Grinnell IA

On the evening of September 15th, 2022 my fiancee and I were traveling along I-80 when a tire blew on our camper trailer. After we had changed to our spare on the side of the interstate, we pulled off at the next exit and realized that our spare as well as the other tire were not acceptable to travel with. We had pulled into a strangers driveway, who was incredibly helpful and called Linder Tire for us. When we arrived at the tire shop fifteen minutes before close we were greeted by three incredibly helpful men who were more than happy to help us by setting us up with three brand new tires. The owner/manager was incredibly kind to us even though we were potentially leading his men into overtime.

I will forever be recommending Linder Tire Service, Inc.to all that may have tire issues.

My husband got new tires yesterday, they called to let him know that it would be later due to the truck coming late, however when he arrived it was sitting outside ready to go, which gave them approximately 20 minutes to mount and balance 4 tires? Then when he got in his truck the air was turned to low and on full blast and his grandfather’s tie tac was missing from the council! Someone obviously took the truck for a ride and helped themself to his tie tac, we didn’t want to accuse anyone of stealing but we have searched the truck and it is not there! Very disappointed will not be back!

I have been a loyal customer here since 2017. It is a bit old school (as in you have to call to book an appointment, I’m not sure records are digitally kept on your car, and the inside of the building has not changed at all).

None of that really matters to me though. Because they provide:
- a consistent, honest service
- try to be helpful as possible by answering questions and letting you know what they can and cannot do
- charge fairly
- accept walk-ins if their schedule is not completely booked
- do not treat me, someone who knows nothing about cars, as if I’m stupid
- in addition to the point up above, they do not take advantage of un knowledgeable customers

Had a great experience with Linder Tire in Grinnell. They took time to help me pick out tires and were very efficient with the installation. Will be visiting them again the next time I need tires.

Al was so nice when talking to me about my car troubles and got it in and out VERY quickly.

Had a tire blowout on Rt 80. I called Linder Tire and they confirmed they had the size and told me they would get someone on it as soon as I got there. I greatly appreciate the quick turn around, less than an hour from blowout to back on the road.

Helpful on cold days to air up your tires when the Iowa cold makes the outdoor machines stop working. Other that a negative experience that we had 3 years ago, they have been great!

Always helpful people and quick service no matter if the job is big (tire replacement) or small (checking tire pressure).

Great service, very helpful. Needed a blown tire replaced on my BMW. In and out in 30 minutes. $130. Reasonable and back on my trip.

We had to stop by early last Friday morning due to a tire problem on our boat trailer. I called for help, they said come on by, we have a tire for you and they took GREAT care of things. In and out within 20 minutes.maybe less. I am so thankful and appreciative for their help and getting me back on the road towards my family vacation.

Needed a front light changed went to several places who would not change it but called Lenders and they fixed it the next morning.

Great service! I tend to have alot of tire issues and they always get me in and out and take care of me and my vehicles! I dont go anywhere else.
